He also has longtime ties to racist groups and other far right nut bags. But, it's ok to elect a racist, as long as the white people aren't wire-tapped.
No. He was suppose to create the seventh horcrux that night and *did*, but didn't realize it because he was "dead". So Voldamort was working under the assumption that he had only five horcruxes, thus he was worried about the snake dying when he knew he only had the snake as a horcrux left. the snake was the final horcrux voldemort knew of, but it was not the final horcrux.
I never understood the not paying attention in class. If, when I was 11, I found out I was a wizard and got to go study magic a I would be studying my ass off all the time. I guess I'm just more like Hermione than Harry.
Horcruxes consist of the wizard splitting their soul then having the part split put into something. He accidentally split his soul and put it into Harry, he didn't transfer it.
when the above poster is old enough to join the workforce Oh my. Did you even look at my UID? Even if I got it when I was 12 I'd still be "old enough to join the workforce." and I have joined for a while. Don't you doubt it.
I've been studying government since you started learning code. Shit, since *I* started learning code.
P.S. Clancy is a fucking tool. And if you think all of these recent "accidental" reveals lately are real, so are you.
"In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself." -Madison
The whole point is for government to control the people. That was what the constitution was written for.
Are all of you so naive as to think this wasn't intentional? Or are you just playing along?
Really, feeding the enemy wrong information as the oldest trick in the book, I'd guess this and the "accidental" release of the specs for the embassy are the work of the same counter insurgency program. Ha ha, look at the stupid Americans.
I used to work at Radio Shack years ago where we sold sprint phones and service. With sprint you don't get discounted phones, you pay the full price, and it is hardware lock-in, they don't work for any other networks.
I know you were joking, but the feds use switch based monitoring systems that have no audio tell these days. This has been the case since the change over to ESS7 started 7 or 8 years back. Somewhat before that as well with ESS5.
If they were required to pay a fee for ending service like the customer is forced to do, then sure.
But they don't have to do that. They have no penalties for dropping customers.
And, honestly, I don't consider the threat of being charged a couple hundred dollars to be a freedom. If I could just drop them and switch carriers then fine.
Also note that sprint phones don't work on any other networks, so if you drop service you are not only out the cancellation fee, you are forced to get a new phone.
When my current contract runs out I'll be switching to month to month, even if I have to buy a used phone and switch carriers. The whole contract thing just annoys the hell out of me.
Maybe I'll wait til I can get a used iPhone and run that month to month, though I have a feeling they won't allow that at all.
P.S. Consumer protection in the U.S. is far, far behind consumer protection in Western Europe. I wish it were different.
I have to say that I'm really intrigued by the new t-mobile wifi/cell combo. They have a whole horde of hotspots in local cafes and various other places around the SF bay area. I would never use the hotspots because they were just too expensive, but the phone sounds like a pretty sweet deal.
If only the damn companies let you try their crap out before you were required to sign a contract. I'd imagine they'd have a lot less complaints.
When I play Civ it is normally at least 30+ hours. Of course, that could be because I always play the biggest map with the most civilizations. Also why I had to delete the damn game, sooooooo adictive. Still love it.
I suppose I could do that now that I have an apartment, but go back 6 months where I was bouncing around between places subletting a month at a time and I needed a mobile. Pretty much none of the places had landlines. The ones that did generally didn't even know their numbers and often only had the line so they could get DSL.
At one point, the only black mark I had on my credit report was a cell phone bill I had refused to pay because I ha already canceled service. That was enough to not allow me to get any decent credit card or get in store financing at most places.
Honesty, looking back I would say they did me a favor as I have little to no debt now. Outside, of course, of student loans.
Get real, if you want a job and a place to live you need a phone. The companies you get regular phone service through are the same companies you get cell service from. And internet companies are either the same again or have the same levels of "service."
Don't worry, they have slaughtering people faster covered

Whatever.
I blame the Luddites.
It was sabotage, look for the wooden shoe.

The sword can only be obtained if the obtainer does so in a brave manner, which I would say the gobbo did not do.

I'd note that despite your sarcasm, web browsing includes reading.

Ideal? Ha!
Have you read what the founding fathers wrote?

And by math you mean philosophy.
I think you've got your terms confused.
And of course the customer gets to negotiate a contract, just like the other party to the contract, right.
And the customer gets an explanation of the different clauses of the contract and how it will affect said customer.
And of course the people who give the customer the contract are able to modify the contract, right?

So it is pretty similar to the iPhone.

Hey, I was born in the U.S. and I assume the same thing, have for a while.
And I definitely second the sentiments on OpenPGP.
And the fact that sprint phones don't work on any other network, so you have the hardware lock-in as well.
And if you RTFA the guy had a phone he'd dropped $600 on, so he's even more pissed.

Maybe we need a mbile phone users union.

Thats because Sprint uses trucks instead of tubes.
How many hours?

Right, I'll just move out to the pacific islands.

So all in all, not so much choice.
