But how many dash mounted cameras are there? Helmet cams for bikers. Someone pointed to snowboarding goggles with them. I can see there frustration with privacy, but I don't think it is all that fringe anymore.
I am not arguing with your thoughts on it being bad. I do want to point out there all ready is people recognizing software running of cameras. Maybe not as intrusive, but there.
I do want to ask though, is there a difference from a polite society and a polite one?
unfortunately most people seem to automatically assume you are the opposite of what you say you have a dislike for. I am with you at this point. Both sides are being bad. I don't have a solution, and I don't like the way things appear to be headed.
I call BS. In Washington, all stores post there price for alcohol, Plus this state tax, plus that state tax, and your final price. This is because it was recently moved from state run to private. The stores didn't want people complaining that the prices were to high so they wanted to blatantly post how much the state was taking and what your final price would be BEFORE you ever took the bottle off the shelf.
So BS to it can't be done. And as posted below it would be nice to be able to compare after tax.
I only have one problem with this. There are some accounts I want to make secure, but they don't allow anything but numbers and text. And upper and lower aren't recognized. They also deal with money. Even if I have good habits, I can't make it secure as they don't allow it. Or my passwords are to long.
Um, stupid question. What if they don't require a user password. So anything you put in gets accepted. And they log what you put in. They just stole your stuff. And you think they have old database? Just asking.
Normally I don't point out spelling errors, but yours is two funny. froget. Can I haz your Froget Legs? Some reason you made me think of EQ, who did the spell them? Froglets? I forget.
But when you type 'Gryfindor' and use one f, the sentence has 2 f's, so it is right.
However my above sentence is wrong because I added "the sentence has 2 f's, so it is right." making it have 3 f's.
However my above sentence is now correct because it only has 2 f's.
Thus we conclude that to type 'Gryffindor' we instead type "However my above sentence is wrong because I added "the sentence has 2 f's, so it is right." making it have 3 f's." This make the original statement read as follows:
However my above sentence is wrong because I added "the sentence has 2 f's, so it is right." making it have 3 f's loses 50 points.
I agree with this completely. I have been called smart by lots of my friends. I graduated with second highest honors. I have an associates (I know not a bachelor, but it is college education). I'm at a dead end job. I am terrible at selling myself. Now I'm not a genius and don't expect to make billians, but I had a hard time making it to were I am. Take my fiance on the other hand. She is good at selling herself and has been getting raise after raise. She is also smart, but I think a lot of it has to do with her selling herself. Others where she works don't get the same upward movement.
As above (in thread) pointed out about being bludgeoned to death being unpleasant. If someone mods a paintball gun to shoot fully auto is it illegal? Are paintballs illegal? If you freeze your paintballs, and have a few buddies with said fully auto guns and you all shoot the same person at a high rate of speed with said frozen paintballs; was the weapon illegal? Or was just the act illegal?
Just random question meant to bring thinking to this.
Bad people will do bad things. I do not claim to be smart enough to have a solution to bad things though. I'm not sure either side does.
What is the circumference of the Earth? How far around is the Earth?
The average radius of the Earth is 3,959 miles (6,374 kilometers).
The equitorial diameter of the Earth (distance from one side of the Earth to the other at the equator) is about 7,926 miles.
The ratio of the circumference to the diameter of a circle (circumference/diameter)
is written as the symbol pi.
Pi is approximately 3.141592.
3.14159265
3.1415926535
Therefore, to determine the circumference from the diameter given above:
equitorial diameter x 3.141592 = equitorial circumference
| |
7,926 x 3.141592 = 24,900
| |
The earth has a circumference of approximately 24,900 miles.
More precisely the circumference of the earth
at the equator is 24,902 mi / 40,076 km.
It depends on what type of plane you are flying in and what air routes you plan to take. The typical duration is usually 2 days to 4 days.
For instance, an F-16 could theoretically circumspect the world in slightly less than 78 hours. But that's only possible if all the refuellings are conducted as in-flight refuellings, via airborne tankers. With luck and some good currents around, it might shave 2 hrs or so off the total time needed. But then again, unless you can stay awake for 3 days without sleep, its damn near impossible to do that.
For a civilian airliner like a Boeing 747 or an Airbus, it would take around the same amount of time, largely due to the need to bring it down to an airstrip for refuelling. But because of its huge internal fuel capacity, it could remain airborne far longer than an F-16.
To help you with your essay, I'm going to list the conditions required to accomplish this in a realistic manner:
1) Type of aircraft and its configuration
A civilian airliner jet (like those 2 mention earlier) typically have intercontinental ranges in excess of 3,000km. Also, they are capable of carrying huge quantities of internal fuel. Assuming you take a Boeing 747, removed all the seats in the passenger compartment and turn them, along with the cargo area into fuel storage, that range will be increased dramatically, from 3,000km to 7,000km.
Taking it further, by adding a refuelling receptor to the jet itself, similar to those used by the Air Force for its planes like the C-17 Globemaster III, the maximum range effectively becomes unlimited.
2) The human factor
Flight operations are no trivial task. While computers and automated intelligent system have made it easier for modern day pilots, the task of flying itself is still a tiring activity. Pilots need to maintain vigilance not only over the flight systems on the aircraft but also need to keep an eye out for weather conditions. Although the availability of long range radar and weather satellites have made detection of distance storms easier and earlier, its ultimately a human that takes actions to avoid it.
Maintaining wakefulness is a mentally exhausting affair, especially when is also an extremely dull affair, since an un-occupied mind is a bored mind, which translate into mental lethargy, which is also sleepiness. A human being usually loses his ability to react quickly after 12 hours of continuous flying. After 18 hours, that ability falls by 10% for every 2 hours after that.
3) Flight profile and weather conditions
The reason why airliner jets can sustain long range flights is because it cruises along at high altitudes. This is one of the aspects of aerodynamics, the higher you fly, the less fuel you burn, thus allow maximum milage per pound of fuel.
Air currents can aid and also hinders an aircraft's performance. With the proper air currents available (dependant on the time of
This is an interesting take on the subject. I must admit, it it was truly not networked, I would fell more ok with the idea. The biggest abuse comes when you can real time track things across a large region. Having to physically go to a camera to obtain evidence stops the abuse. Yet the biggest help that a camera can offer is still there, after the fact.
Having worked with CCTV, I think you are misinformed on the spying. Why it does take someone sitting in front of the camera, it is real easy to track people and get routines of there day.
I'm confused, if keyboard and mouse don't work, how do all the emulators work? You can even get multiple people on one keyboard if you need to. I have done this just fine. As for the "fallback" just pick keys and let the end user change if wanted.
I think the biggest argument I would make is this. If you want a keyboard and mouse they come standard to the PC. If you want to add a joystick, wheel, gampad, multiple devices you can (to your usb bandwidth). New consoles are letting you add keyboard and mice, but few utilize them. If you want a second person you have to buy a second controller so the argument that you have to buy more devices for a pc is mute IMHO.
I won't argue cheaper, as I think you can get a cheap computer to play NES. SNES. GameCube, N64, Sega, and how knows what else. Most the old consoles get ported to PC.
You can argue legal on the above, but if you buy the game it is legal to own the rom in my understanding. With PC easy to hook up to TV, the one advantage to console, I see the PC more versatile and a better choice. Even if you choose to go to a middle road price/rig. You still get a wide selection, and even some new ones and lower / medium graphics settings.

Lets hope the guy with Google glass "keeps his eyes on the road" as it were.
Just use your head silhouette, 3 robot head silhouette, and have 4 voices make funny comments.....
Wait, that might be infringement.

Every time I call from my cell phone I get a 911 charge on my bill. If I'm not in trouble, don't expect me to call in when you are getting mugged.

fair comment. but I will point you to above that states, different cultures are well, different.
Oh if I had mod points. I laughed.

I had never heard of the game. I am excited to play.
There is one way it is destroyed, death and tax on broken equipment. But this is so low, it effectively isn't.

This is just my observation.
Sadly true

Its all just a game so they can boost there average and still sell the trucks that have terrible MPG that people want.

I'm starting to think that my next "console" will be a pc I build for the tv with a controller.
