Every1 seems to be listening to 128k mp3s on their CrapPods. So everything sounds terrible. Louder crap vs softer crap doesn't make a difference, it's all sh*t. Well that's my op anyway. Any1 agree?
It appears there is a misprint in this article. You cannot (as far as I know) collect electrons from the sun. You can however make a material that absorbs the suns PHOTONS. In Si (silicon) solar cells, certain photos from the sun are absorbed by an electron in the material. The photo transfers it's energy to the electron and the electron jump up to a higher band (think of the bands as rungs on a ladder). When the electron leaves the lower band it creates a hole where it used to be (a space for another electron to fill). If the electron is left in the solar cell, then it will spontaneously jump back down to a lower band, and emit another photon. The trick is to suck the electron out of the solar cell, and force it to run through an external circuit (your house).
Hope this helps,

Read all aboot it! Excess sugar makes you fat!
duH!
Seriously, it's it quite obvious that excess calorie intake, coupled with little to no excersise will cause people to gain weight. Go to Europe where food is expensive, and cars are even more expensive. So no one can affort to eat (well not quite but..). And everyone walks because opperating a car is too expensive (fuel, parking). This is mainly due to the fact that most European cities were build before the invention of the automobile. Thus everything has alway been within walking distance, if not then you take the train, metro/subway/tube, or the bus.
That's my 10 cents, my 2 cents is free.

The majority of perpertual claims I've seen just displace energy in time (storage) and then release it later. The storage part typically not included in the calculations. Thermodynamics states that you cannot creat a perpetual motion machine. This proof is INDEPENDANT of the mechnism, be it electric, magnetic, nuclear, or some form of force/energy we have yet to discover.
On average Manitoba has low premiums. For this you must consider the people who have many (sometimes more than 10) accidents per year. If you have a good driving record, then private insurance is cheaper. Funny how we believe whatever autopac/gov't tells us. I've spoken with many family members across Canada (BC, AB, SK, ON, NB), and I know now not to trust Autopac's propaganda. Keep in mind that once the imobilizer is installed, Autopac considers your vehicle un-steal-able. So if it gets stolen, you have no coverage. How can it get stolen? Simple, the people who do the install know have to bypass/remove the system. This information will eventually leak to the general public, and then we're back where we started.
Just more Microsoft propaganda. They're probably looking for a scape goat for this years earning. Vista's going to flop. It's too much of a hog. Personnally, I see no significant improvement over XP. No one in there right mind is going to buy all new computers just for Vista. New computers today run slower on Vista, than computers from 6 months (to a year) ago run on XP. When I look at Vista I see one thing, a bridge b/w XP and Tiger (OS X).
That's my 10 cents, my 2 cents is free.
First, the preview relates to a pre-screening of a movie. Second, I don't blame them, in Canada it is not illegal to bring a camcorder into a movie theater. Obviously, the theater can ask you to leave, but you cannot be arrested. Two things have lead to an explosion of cam/tc/ts piracy. First, the audio jack supplied to hearding impaired listners. Audio sync was the largest problem with pirated copies, now it has been eliminated. Second is cost/time. It is much easier to watch a movie in the comfort of you own home (stop, play, rewind). Or lug the kids and wife to the movie theater, and pay $10 for sugar water and over salted popcorn. And what if the movie sux, you barter with the theater to get your money back, ya right too much of a hassle.
Tha'ts my 10 cents (my 2 cents is free).
Hopefully this will force people to look more closely at their printer purchases. I know I few people who buy new printers when the old one runs out of ink (they don't print very much). Obviously, it comes down to cost per print for a given quality. Unfortunately, some people have neither the know-how or time (sometimes an excuse to disguise the lack of know-how) to evalutate the cost per print of a printer. People seem to flock to the lowest price. However, there are two parts to getting good VALUE, namely a device of reasonable quality for a reasonably low price. Someone needs to make a printer web page like Steve did for digicams.
First this article make no sense. Second, good luck with making a 12x lens for a camera phone (which doesn't make the phone bulky). Third, if you want to take excellent photos, take a course, or at least read the freaking manual. Fourth, I seriously doubt any mfg will make an underwater housing for a phone. The way I pick my digi-cams is based on the specs of the housings. I know, I'm not most people, but with the current price of dive housing, there are more and more diver with digicams. I am an amateur (almost wrote armchair) photographer, and the photos which receive most of the compliments from friends & family are my underwater photos.
Rant-out.
I spent a year backpacking around New Zealand (hiking as much as I could). Here is some advice.
Keep your techstuff to a min. All you should need is a digicam (with underwater housing if you plan on diving -> SCUBA) and a 4GB USB flash drive. Buy rechargeble batteries that can take 120/220V and 50/60Hz. I brought an mp3 player for bus rides, but I never used it.
When you buy gear, spend the extra buck to get the light stuff, it all adds up (food is heavy, and it's not in your pack when you leave home). Also try to buy clothing and a towel that is quick drying. The dryers in the hostels are crap. Get a decent pair of hiking sandals and hiking boots (waterproof breathable). Personally, I spent more time hiking in my sandals than my boots. When it was raining or I had to walk really far (more than 15miles) or I was in the city I was glad to have my boots. Keep your valuables in a dry bag in your pack (as well as a change of clothing). Get a sleeping bag that is good for 32F/0C, this is a survival not a comfort rating. Get a sleeping bag cover. It's good for dirty spots as well as sleeping in hot climates. Make sure you have a waterproof coat and pants. Make sure the coat hangs over the pants, and the pant cuffs hang over your waterproof boots. Also get a decent waterproof cover for your pack. Get local maps (they don't need batteries), and a cheap compass (only necessary at night or on rally cloudy days). The longer you are gone on your trip the more your attitude and your views will change. You may be a completely different person when you come back. Bring along a care-free and go-with-the-flow attitude. Spend the first little bit listening to people who have been traveling before, and pick up on some of their tips.
Enjoy!

Come on, if it's on the internet then it MUST be true!
Sounds like something out of Superman.
So the problem is capitalism then? His competitors swooped in and stole his clients. If you don't like it move to a communist country.
Now which way do I point my TV antenna to pick up GalacticTV?

Can I get the outside airbrushed? If so, I call the Superman spacesuit!
