really, I'd like a few to get my girlfriend's father off my ass
if they are suing apple for something their product can't do, deliberate or not, then I have the right to sue toyota for making cars that can't drift anymore.
it's their right to make their product do whatever they want (or lack thereof) it's called good business practices.
grow up, that's what I have to say to the guys filing this law suit. music is still everywhere to buy besides apple, and you don't have to use their ipod, even then you can put ipod linux, or some other modified firmware on it to make them play whatever the hell you want
this is what people get for underestimating the creative minds that run, and attend defcon, even if it got out, dateline would crash from a massive ddos attack or soumthin
christ, the aacs was hacked in less than a week.... I'll give blue ray about a month... juss because it's open source. trust me if there's a will, there's a way, and stating your tech is unhackable is a challange to those of us who have the resources to try and crack this stuff... besides it's my movie, I bought it, I won't go and give somebodey my movie just becasue everybodey else is.
it's about time to dust off montey python.....
(clears throat)
*insert outrageous French accent here* I wave my private parts at your auntie, so go boil your bottom you son of an English bed wetter!!
well, it's almost a fact, that the more you enforce things, and the more you restrict, the more people are going to do what you don't want them to do. I'm not saying that there should be no government, I just think the RIAA should back off more, because in the technology world, where information is currency, you cannot successfully track the misuse of this technology without the major violation of one's rights
yea... if the last two are really enforced then every professional buissness, that has a phone system, and every cellphone carrier is kinda screwed whole wireless handset deal
It looks like the RIAA will have to think about it next time they sniff the slightest little tidbit of music piracy, I feel compelled to say that their just protecting their investments, but there's a line between protection, and fanaticism.
Something is easily borken
script kiddie found a hole... oh no the authors just committed seppuku
*I wonder why they would even think of such a think oh so quietly to myself*

when has the world record for cracking drm merged into the negatives in time??
since when did microsoft become a patent troll?!?!? they have flexed their legal muscles before, but not like this.
now now, one can justly oppose parts of a copyright, and some of the people that doggedly enforce that copywright, and yet still accept it as a whole
RIAA? Secret? ZOMG!!/sarcasm I always thought it was obvious that the riaa sucked at being private in the least bit

ditto there, since I'm pretty much in college now, for two obvious reasons I'm going to hold off too
that means you all should believe, worship, and obey that my brother is a douche because I have gut feeling.
