I found this article online a few weeks ago, maybe off of/. I can't remember. Anyways, it gives some great real world examples of Open Source software in the workplace, along with the cost savings. Definetly worth a read if you're looking for facts to back up this decision.
And exactly what attack are we talking about? OpenBSD hasn't had a remote exploit out in 4 years now. So what attack is the FBI gonna have that will get past that?
Or what if I'm on the freeway, and I gotta pee, really, really, REALLY bad, and the next rest area is 30 miles away.... (assume using a tree isn't an option this time).
I'm all for this one. You don't see weenies on the Auto-bond. It's every man for themselves out there, and from what I hear, their safety record is pretty decent.
