This is so sad and true. In reality it IS unconstitutional. This is exactly what the framers wanted to prevent. If they knew that the commerce clause would be twisted so badly, they would have modified it a bit, I think.
A well regulated militia (in our current case, the army) is necessary for defense of the country. The right to bear arms is necessary to ensure the freedom of individuals against that standing army if it becomes corrupted.
Sorry--I equate tethering and hotspot even though they are of course two compeltely different things. (Same result though.) And the impression of the news media (from what I'm reading) is that there was no additional cost.
Fraternization, as defined by the Manual for Courts-martial, is a personal relationship between an officer and an enlisted member that violates the customary bounds of acceptable behavior in the Air Force and prejudices good order and discipline, discredits the armed services, or operates to the personal disgrace or dishonor of the officer involved.
Enlisted and Enlisted is referred to as "Unprofessional Relationship".
Read AFI 36-2909 for more specifics.
The big question, though, is just how successful any fresh attempt at enforcing new privacy strictures on the Internet will be with Republicans soon to be in charge of the House.
