I listen to the news once or twice a day and sometimes from stations with different political orientations. I actually like my local NPR station best and make a small annual donation to them.
My Palm Centro must be six yrs old now. It has a 32GB memory card in it (Same capacity as the new Blackberry Z10!) and I've replaced the battery twice. It has been a wonderful workhorse and I can actually fit it in my pocket. I'm looking for a new smartphone now, but NOT one with a soldered-in memory chip or battery. Too bad Palm/HP self destructed.
On the brighter side, now more guys are being motivated to buy purses in which to carry their 5" phones. This should be a boon both to the fashion industry and purse snatchers everywhere.
The ranking was done simply by "counting hits of the most popular search engines" for each language. A large number of hits might just imply that a language is more difficult to use and requires more on-line assistance.
I recently got a Vista laptop for my 79 year old father (Yeah, Dad rocks!). Unfortunately, he's an AOL lover, and soon after he installed AOL 9.0, the laptop started hanging during the boot cycle. After pursuing a number of frustrating avenues, we wiped Vista, installed XP, and his laptop has run just fine (and a lot faster) ever since. My niece also absolutely hated Vista on her new computer, deleted it, installed XP and is now much happier. You've got to really dislike an OS to go to the trouble of replacing it! I wonder how many others have done the same?
There's a USA Today article that cites a Microsoft study which found that "workers increased their productivity 9% to 50% by adding a second or third monitor." The entire article can be found at

This was the best I found, but there are a number of other web postings on the subject. I just did a Dogpile search using the search string: monitors productivity.
Everyone in our office now has three Dell 20" monitors, and we've found that multiple monitors significantly speed our software development. I can display my IDE on one screen, my help documentation on another, and my actual test application plus support programs such as simulators and database displays on a third. It's a no brainer. Best of luck to you!

There's one thing worse than a bad sense of humor... and that's no sense of humor.

I found that the Uninstall option is available for Google Toolbar in Vista, but it doesn't do anything!
