    Large non occluded diamonds are really expensive. The cost then exponentially decreases as size and transparency decrease. As well, small dark diamonds can be manufactured in a lab easily. These two factors lead to diamond dust being extremely cheap compared to its cousins in jewelry.

    Ah... But is it as much fun to use that dust, as it is pulverizing your wife's diamonds in your mention's basement(a.k.a the secret cave under the house)

    The crusades?.... Might be the answer. Some Christians still have an issue with "Jews killing Jesus". Mind you, the crusades were totally baseless, since Muslims had no issues with Christians pilgrimage to the holy land.
    And, yes, it's an absolutely ironic cycle. The first one to apologize and try to understand wins. So far, neither side is willing to do that.

    Chicken are the electorate, that elect people based on how beautiful their campaign is. Who think that their voice does not matter. And who think that voting for a third party is throwing their vote away.

    They would need approvals of each and every one of EU's member states. Or at least the one that has the servers physically located.
    In the latter case, most EU's banks would not be allowed to transfer any personal information to that country, until explicitly permitted by the person. Europeans are very careful about legal protection of their personal information.
    I personally, had to sign a release for my employer, allowing my name and last name to be entered in the central employee database in US.

    That is the rason I believe that the , currently, over privileged artists should get their money mainly from 2 sources:
    A) Commercial music usage
    B) Live concert ticket sales
    And movie "stars" should get to do real work, like acting in a theater. I mean, anyone can whip up a good scene when you have 200 takes, but when you're in a theater, that is the place where you have to really work.

    You will also have to enter your CC PIN after each and every digit of the price, and once after the full price is entered.
    Your CC will also be charged 3 times and you will have to go through the court to get your money back
    They will call the cops on you right after you left the shop, for piracy concerns. In fact, there will be a SWAT van parked just outside of the store, for fast responce times. The only fast response, that you will be getting in and around the shop.

    Unfortunatelly it will fail miserably, as a business unit. Microsoft will just prop it up with their other revenue.
    The reason Apple stores are a success, is because Apple is a full stack vendor. They offer hardware to end user software and accessories.(I bet, that software sales at an apple stores are miserable)
    Microsoft does not produce any laptops and most hardware, so what are they going to display there? Will they join forces with HP? The usual Windows laptop lineup is really, horribly ugly.(ugly as homosapiens biological definition)

    Now, could you explain to me , how is exactly chair wheels are relevant to my interest and content at hand, when I am reading up on YouTube scalability architecture at highscalability.com?
    Though, the above example is definitely a freak accident on google's behalf or the web site's owners keyword selection, these people* shove that kind(irrelevant kind) of advertising through every hole they can find.
    I actually watch advertisements and buy some of the advertised goods, but why the hell are there diaper commercials in the wrong place?!?!?!?!?!

    To be technically correct. IBM never abandoned anticompetitive measures. Most of them were taken away by the market position of IBM and near crash in the beginning of the 90-ies. Just look at the mainframe market now. IBM did abandon fraudulent activities.

    Maybe some people live in countries that have a simple legal systems and do not need an army of lawyers to fight off anyone...
    Not all programmers and GPL'ed software writers area actually americans and there is requirement to file your complaint against Microsoft in US.

    Nobody cares that Linksys/Cisco uses GPL code in their cheap routers. Nobody cares that Google uses GPL code in their various web apps. Nobody cares that FOSS-heavy companies like Novell and Red Hat use GPL code to make a profit. Why should any care that Microsoft is using GPL code as long as they are following the terms of the license?

    Why? I believe that Microsoft is the company that is the biggest anti-OSS company ever. Even calling OSS "communism", wishing that that brand would give some PHB's the "hibby jibbies" of the cold war era.
    PS: F/OSS is probably the best incarnation of communism there ever was, right after a family.

    There is this public secret, that Microsoft will do anything to keep it's OS dominance. Even if it takes on the form of letting Linux run under the Windows Server 2008 HyperV.
    It's not the usual Embrace, Extend, Extinguish. And GPL makes sure that that technique does not work as expected.
    I would bet, that Sam Ramji had to explain how this move would not hurt Microsoft in any way.
    I see Microsoft going the way of IBM, and only doing the thing that is beneficial to their own strategy when contributing to OSS. IBM is a great supporter and contributor, but it does not compare to contributions like people at Sun did. What Sun did, was really altruistic.
