Except that there's different speed limits in different places. And I'm sure it wouldn't take very long at all for people to figure out how to once again make their cars go as fast as they want.
Yeah seriously I work at a factory that makes formed insulation for electrical transformers, and I'm willing to say that just about any of our CNC machines could probly have planed down a couple thousandths from a few sides. O NASA, how we love you.
What counts is not what percentage of total taxable revenue the rich or the poor pay but what percentage of their own individual income they pay. So some individual earning less than lets say $50,000 a year paying a higher percentage of tax than another individual earning $5,000,000 per year, seems hardly fair especially considering the sheer dollar volume of the remainder left after tacxes.
The person making less than $50,000 would pay a much lower percentage of his own income than the person making $5,000,000. The person making the larger salary would be in a much higher tax bracket than the other person would be in. This means that he pays a HIGHER percentage of his salary. So he is paying a HIGHER percentage of a HIGHER salary, and so are other people like him, which is why the rich in America pay the vast majority of the nation's taxes.
Okay, i think I get what you're saying. "Now that most of the chain is made out of titanium alloy, we only need to check the two wooden end points." Is that just about what you're saying?
The point of "encrypting at all" is that it makes the transmission "link" of the "chain" stronger. Not extremely ridiculously amazingly stronger, but strong enough that if you really want to break the chain, you'll try breaking the other links.
Let's say we have a chain made of wooden link but one of those links is made of steel. It would be pointless to remove the steel link and replace it with a titanium alloy link in order to "make the chain stronger."
Yeah, I agree with the point you're making, as murder still goes on quite a bit. However, not a huge amount of murderers actually get the death sentence, and even the ones that do have a few years at least usually before the execution actually happens, and the execution itself is usually relatively painless, and non-public. Having said that, I think the Parent Poster was kidding around, because it's pretty easy to see how ridiculous that solution is.
Well, under normal circumstances, it IS wrong/selfish to be of the "me first" mentality. However, under one circumstance and one circumstance only is it NOT wrong. This would be in God's case, when He in fact WAS (and still is) first.
Now I KNOW I should lay off the/. for a little while. The first thought that came to mind when I saw the title was "What the heck does Microsoft have to do with the food industry??????":-P
Yeah, as other people have stated, hacking does not imply any state of legality. The term 'hacking' means messing around with something (whether it's source code or hardware) to make it do something different (usually with the intent of making it better). The illegal aspect of 'hacking' comes from the media's error of calling crackers (people who attempt to break into other people's systems or products) hackers.
Now what I'm wondering, is if the media doesn't like saying 'cracker' because of fear of sounding vaguely racist.......:p

Hahahahahaha. Seriously, that's a good one.
Yeah but if you have to wait until the war's over before your weapon has an effect, you're gonna find yourself probably losing the war.
I don't think he's alienated anyone at all. There are "+5 Funny" posts about this kind of thing on almost every story that gets published on here.

I'm not trying to sound like a smart alec here, cuz I really am just curious. How would quantum cryptography help a sub do this?

That's costly but that's what federal money is made for.
Isn't that what state or municipal money is made for? Federal money isn't made so that the entire country can pay for "fixing up" one city.
Why are you going on about a 3V current? Isn't the fatality of electricity related to the Amperage?
Okay, this is actually kinda funny. But why would this be modded insightful? I mean seriously now.

How the heck does a post like this get modded as informative? I really don't understand the mod system here sometimes.........

The only thing I can see Dell using to get the public aware of this would be to have Justin Timberlake singing "We're bringing XP back......."

Exactly. Democrats worry me sometimes......... Like during election years. :p
