That what popped into my mind. "I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die."
As if...
So, tell me, how many of these were legal crime fighting uses and how many were just cops checking up on their girlfriends, ect. 8 million. and thet's just Sprint.
Filefront is my first stop for demos and mods, ect.. Never had a problem downloading from them. Where will I go now? Fileplanet suks big ones. I stopped using them long ago.
Best ever IMHO. I haven't used anything else since 199? Great for FPS. I've tried about every other trackball made and they suck in comparison. I hates mices to pieces.
I have one at the office, and one on each of my 2 home computers. I have 1 dead one for spare parts, and 3 backups that I got off eBay for too dang much. Haven't had to use them, cause these things are still going strong. Superior construction.
I which they would make these again. They had a similar wireless version, but it didn't feel right.
Someone clue me in. Most software I've seen is 'free for personal use'. I haven't seen much that is an alternative to MS and Sym that is free for corporate use.
I have used almost every type of trackball and mouse out there and the Trackman FX is my fav. Gaming or work, it's the best for me. I use 1 at the office, 1 on my gaming rig, and 1 on my main pc. I have 4 trackmans in storage I got off eBay.
I wish Logitech or somebody would make these again. They are well constructed and tough, but they are hard to fix, I have 2 that died but I keep them around for spare parts.
I hate thumb balls with a passion.
For me, it's too much eye candy today. The driving force behind RPG's was to use one's imagination. You couldn't see the six foot flaming sword in the iron golem's hand. And this was true of the CRPG's that we reminisce about. Ultima series, TSR's Gold box series, Wizardry series and the likes. You only saw a static low res pic of what was going on.
You had to imagine that the pitiful sound comming out of the PC speaker was the crack of a high-powered round. And they usually had a good story line that kept you interested. I recently cranked up the C64 emulator and played my favs Wizard's Crown, Eternal Dagger, and Wasteland. Still great fun after 15 years.
Nowdays, there is very little to imagine. Just eye candy in 'real time'.
