    Bulldozer is a fail architecture. Lower performance and higher power draw than their own chips that are lower price like the phenom 2 six cores.

    Except that they aren't making their own tools. They are just rewriting their database abstraction layer so they can use a variety of didn't different backend databases rather than just couchdb.

    Why? You're mostly just going to be contacting the same people who work for Couchbase since it's the company formed by a group of the main developers.

    To add, the only other way to get the controlling stake would be to work a deal with someone or some group of shareholders who own a controlling stake to sell there shares. This is also equally an unlikely situation.

    You do resize that's not how the stock market works, right? You can't just choose to buy up the shares of the company unless there are enough sell orders to fullfill the buy order. And I seriously doubt that a sell order volume equivalent to 51% of the company is available for purchase.

    That's the brilliant "editing" work of timothy. The original articles used "organized and systematic" attack but timothy must have thought that was too clear and not redundant enough for the slashdot title.

    The only real restriction on it, is the new open source fork doesn't have copyright so they can't change the license -- ie its stuck on gpl version X. The new fork can't close source it or change the gpl version.

    Wrong. If the code has the "or any other later version" clause it can be changed without needing permission.
