  1. Too late Sony on Sony Takes on YouTube with Video-Sharing Site · · Score: 1

They will never be able to compete with YouTube, I dont know why they are trying, and I agree that it is a terrible name! Sony abanoned their amazing robot research (Aibo & Qrio) to concentrate on the PS3, and now they're spending their time on this video sharing website that has been done before, probably better.

I think that as a big company with lots at stake, they would have to be very careful about users uploading copyrighted clips, they don't want to get sued.

  2. a step in the right direction on Dell Releases Flash-Based Laptops · · Score: 2, Insightful

it's just what laptops needed, and the flash hard drives will only get bigger in capacity.. the fastest drives like SCSI & the 10kRPM SATA2, have always been a bit smaller than their larger slower counterparts. If you need storage on a laptop, get a 500gb drive and put it in an external enclosure, having windows running off a flash drive sounds like it should be great.

  3. good on them on 250,000 PS3s Folding@Home · · Score: 2, Insightful

a very good use of the PS3's spare processing power, and disease research is much more worthwhile than looking for aliens

  4. cheaper & fun! on How Wii Is Creaming the Competition · · Score: 1

cheaper than PS3 & Xbox360, more fun! no wonder Nintendo have done so well with it

  5. great idea on Wikipedia Releases Offline CD · · Score: 1

great idea from Wikipedia, plenty of uses for people all over the world with limited net connectivity definitely healthy competition to MS Encarta & others

  6. whys FF so good? on Ten Years of FFXIII? · · Score: 1

i dont know why people love Final Fantasy so much, can someone explain?

  7. maybe theyre good, but theyre no dslr! on Digital Camera Vs. Camera Phone · · Score: 1

of course theyre getting better, but so are the Digital SLR cameras, ive got a pretty standard EOS-350d and i can't imagine a cameraphone coming anywhere close considering all the settings and different lens options.

Does any camera phone come with a tripod mount yet? it might help their bad rep in low light conditions.

take a look at my DSLR photos at: Stock-Imagery.com - you can download them at their original 8MP resolution to compare them to a camera phone
