Knowing the number of times I've had baggage be delayed, this would be a real hit! Waiting days/weeks for a bag to find its way from Charles de Gaulle to Bristol, considering the short distance is unbelievable!
I have to say - you don't _really_ need a space mission for that, a suitably large bell jar would suffice.

You could configure SELinux to deny access to the vmsplice() call, but as users run in unconfined_t, this is not the default.
