    It's not all about multi-threaded programs - being able to run multiple single threaded programs concurrently is also important.

    I don't normally fly long distance, but smaller places such as the A320 both board and unload from the front and back simultaneously. I assumed those running larger planes would do that too for efficiency.

    Apache won't auto-update but the distribution (assuming linux here) will provide automatic updates if configured for it.
