yeah so? I do have some kind of phone service, it's called a cell phone, every single person I know has one. I can use Google voice to call from my cell phone or any other phone in the U.S. to other countries for as little as 2 cents/minute. I don't care for Skype's monthly plan. Googe voice also provides me with a phone number and area code of my choice (I picked one nearly identical to my cell number), voicemail, call filtering, etc.
I like to call from a phone not from a computer. I can make a call whenever I want from wherever I want and even roam around the house (which I cannot do even on a bluetooth connected to my computer)
I think Google (and myself) are better off with Google Voice. I never liked skype and if you look at prices for making calls to landlines and cellphones in Europe they're more expensive than the alternative. With Google voice I can call Europe for 2 cents a minute from any U.S. phone, without having to log onto my computer.
> the state of information security can be summed up in the book's final three sentences
What the F***?! It totally spoiled the end for me, without even a "SPOILER" warning. I don't wanna read the book anymore.
Nobody said that was a final list. Where did you read that? If you have so much time to waste go ahead and compile your own list. The guy above was merely giving examples and he succeeded with most people in making them understand that example.
But if you want to apply your selective glasses and wrap your head before hitting it go ahead, on my side I prefer leaving the drama to people like yourself and worry about the future of comics when the things you worry about actually happen. Complaining on/. won't make the world a better place.
The flaw is in your thinking of knowing what Disney wants to do. They have produced their fair share of R rated movies, they're not going to mod down the comics. Ultimately Disney does what the buyers want.
Exactly! BBC News website is the first one I read every morning because of they way news are written, stating facts rather than opinions. I wouldn't even dream of touching Fox "News" with my 9 inch pole.
So, how is this going to work for TV shows? If I typically download a TV show that is not shown in my country, which was digitally recorded from TV, now I won't be able to see that anymore just because the copyright holder of the show doesn't want me to even if that show was broadcast on TV?
In all fairness Alenia (owner of Aermacchi) is one of the leading aeronautical manufacturers in the world having designed, built and maintained over 12,000 airplanes.
You know, usually this is the case, but not here. Parts are being produced in Europe not to save money but because of the know-how. It's not overseas China or Taiwan that we are talking about. Plus building in the U.S. is not a guarantee of higher quality.
Let's not forget other ways of wasting money: each B2B bomber costs over $2 Billion. But hey, bombing people is more profitable than sending a man to Mars...
What kind of choice is that? My best friend just told me that when he was at the hospital (Texas) last month for his grandma dying he met this young guy in his 20s who was there for cancer treatment and was being dismissed because his insurance refused to pay any more. Such a choice... life or death? No thanks! I choose Europe and the rest of the world.
The US is unique in its quest to put income before people's lives. So much for being a civilized country. And Americans who are against public health care and called themselves patriots are just clueless morons.
$45+$15+taxes = $70
Anyways, you are right, I am paying for more than what I need, only problem is that if I chose the plan one step lower I'd bet getting less than what I need and therefore I'd end up paying $0.45/minute for each additional minutes. Plans are set in a way that you always end up chosing much more than what you need.
Other plan being $29.99 (plus all else as above) but just 200 minutes instead of 450 and they remove the roaming feature too.
Can we send Bill O'Reilly? Then there really wouldn't be any intelligent life form on Mars

It's spending and creating jobs that you move the economy up.
It's my tax money anyway and I have no saying on it.

I complained about ads? You need to check your reading skills. I merely stated the fact that there is advertising so it's not a free service.
I don't think anything is going to change on that aspect. I worked for Disney for 5 years and they're not likely to change a winning formula.
I got modded down by some moron from Utah, lol. Well, I have lived in UT and I stand by my words.
Last I checked I was able to read all the news on their website from Wyoming as I've done for many years.
Exactly! BBC News website is the first one I read every morning because of they way news are written, stating facts rather than opinions. I wouldn't even dream of touching Fox "News" with my 9 inch pole.
Murdoch can use his billions of dollars to buy a first class ticket to Wyoming and come kiss my ass.
Finally Utah does something right
One doesn't exclude the other, smartass.

How's that any news? Thought it was common knowledge ;-)

The US is a federation, the EU a confederation. I rest my case.
It wasn't an analogy, it was a joke... you know, something called "humor"
