nowhere have i seen anyone going after the companies that make the hardware that allows the copying of music. it seems that the issue is over the software being used to make the copies and not the CD-R itself. why is that?

brrr... this has got to be the coldest eclipse ive seen since Feb '79. looks very red for a lunar eclipse so im very pleased to have seen this. just thought all should know this =] PS/. looks terrible when viewed w/ a Dreamcast
personally i like the idea of a whole bunch of little robots scooting around, cleaning up after me. The main thing is, its gotta be smaller, more affordable, and quick enough to get out of my way.
I don't believe small companies will be quick to respond to this ruling. Most users don't know and or don't care since they will HAVE to continue to use M$ products for the forseeable future. Linux may be able to adapt to any enviroment we work it into but the bottom line is that M$ has trenched itself deep here. We can't afford to roll back the clocks and start over with a level playing field. M$ is like flu, we're not going get a cure.
I'm not one to frown on someone making a quick buck, everyone has gripes about low budget softwre and movies raking in big dinero. Making fun ofboth at the same time?
