Dude... your example of derby demolition is a really good one. That appeals to a lot of people because everyone knows what it is. (A good car analogy on Slashdot?!!) WWE!:) (And I honestly mean that with all sincerity!)
P.S. MSDN docs do often suck... luckily their IDE and Google results are OK.
I'm all for less regulation of the actual technology, though I have no problem with keeping an eye on possibly negative environmental effects caused by industry and business. There has been a long history of business causing environmental/social problems when left to its own devices, so it is definitely something of which everyone should be wary.
I don't know what's funnier: your wit or that you actually believe what you are saying*... anyway, I don't see how you could argue that Windows is more intuitive to use than OS X for your average user.
25 developers is a lot. Maybe it's just me, but 25 developers would seem to be enough for most large projects. The real question is "how many developers dos it take to screw in a light bulb?"
I've banged up my knuckles on harder things than wood. A rib, I firmly believe, is easier to break than breaking boards for sale. I would be glad if you could find some references. I know what I can infer from my experience, but to be honest, I can't find much good supporting literature.
Have you broken this sort of thing before? I know my ribs feel softer than those boards.
LOL:) Let me put it another way: these boards are all harder to break than ribs are, yet someone without much training (beyond how to keep their wrists straight while punching) can usually learn to break a board in 2-3 punches, in my experience. This article explains a bit about the physics of punching.
IANA nutritionist, but as a vegetarian nutrition amateur, I can say with some certainty that a diet of Cajun food is far healthier than what most of the rest of the country eats on a daily basis... plus y'alls' food tastes so good!

P.P.S. A fi bun mi sensi.
I, for one, .... always check the licence of snippets I use :)
For the lazy :)
Looks pretty cool, but I am guessing that it couldn't be used in conjunction with gDisk. Also, "only" Windows and Linux are supported.

It would be pretty cool if they DID have meanings. Combine that with an alignment stat... oh wait. That's Fable with tags.
This is the real reason 'Net Neutrality is having so much trouble in Congress ;)
I've seen this exact concept before in the old BBS door game Legend of the Red Dragon. It had a news feed like so:
Malkor has slain GoatseKnight in his sleep!
Malkor has slain Gorfried in his sleep!
etc. It is very similar to the web-based reincarnation Legend of the Green Dragon .
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but Slashdot moderation will never hurt me ;)
Well... who would argue with that analogy?
LOL. Checking if a word is in the dictionary for someone who asks is flamebait now?
Yes, "deniability" is a word.

* Actually... I do know which is funnier.
I wish I had. Lately I've had to start a disinfomation "campaign" to try and reclaim one of my (very unique) aliases that has become dirtied...

In Soviet Russia, cell phone has your number.
Actually, ribs are very easy to break. It's almost as easy as snapping a pencil...
...engages in a mental doublethink, kind of similar what a creationist biologist would have to do to keep his worldview internally consistent
That is such an ignorant statement. Are you just trying to rile people or are you really this intolerant?
Good writing... on TV?!
Despite how much I hear this said about Slashdot, I can't say I agree.

Dude. If you believe pot should be illegal, you are wrong. Period.
Dude, THC isn't too soluble in water...
We're like most anyone else. We get angry when it's called for.
