NASA knows what's up, they just don't want US to know! They now have live video feeds from Spirit showing Mohammed living it up with his virgins (well, they were virgins a few thousand years ago). Mars is heaven, Venus is hell, and he's doomed us all to Venus!

He is intentionally making us all evil to work in his sulfur mines that will be on Venus when we arrive in Hell! Won't SOMEONE PLEASE think of the children!

(Don't mod me down for trolling, it's a joke. Don't like it? Ignore it, probably means you have good taste in humor.)

    > How about if SCO loses? Do they have to refund everyone who was coerced into buying licenses?

No, because at the time, the people "chose" to pay the license. They could have:
    - paid the fee
    - stopped using the software (however unrealistic)
    - challenged the fee in court
    - waited for the outcome of this case.

If they choose the last option and SCO wins, they can be penalized even more for not paying "when required." If they choose to challenge it, they put a lot of money on the line (hell of a lot more than $699) to defend themselves. They could switch OSes, but that's entirely unrealistic, and I imagine SCO is counting all this to force the victims to choose the first option: to pay with no chance of refund (unless later they pursue further legal action over the extortion of $700).

Close. Yes, the Internet is more than just websites: it includes FTP, EMail, and all other things that are not Web sites. They are not on the WWW, but are part of the Internet. The Web means the World-Wide Web (www), of which each "strand" in said web is a hyperlink (or other linking mechanism, I suppose).

A Web Site is a collection of WWW pages on one domain. I almost said "on one server," but there can be multiple sites hosted on one computer.

The terminoligy was already solidified, but when regular people started using it, they used whatever word they thought was right (when it wasn't). I believe much confusion in terms came about due to media outlets ignorantly reporting & using words that they did not understand.

Not to mention that there is no scientifically valid way to estimate how much of either is available. There is just too much land to cover and it's too far down to find easily.
