It's full of politicians and their hangers-on so it's going to suck in undesirable types like a sponge. I'm a "more guns, less crime" kind-of guy but even I think that that signal is swamped by other inputs in the case of DC
Ratings are stupid. Of 50 states someone has to be #1 and someone has to be #50 and the slots in between* must be filled also. You could clone a billion Stephen Hawkings and replace the US population with them and somewhere would still be #50. It's just a trick used by politicians to extort more tax dollars from the populous.
Sure, take a good measure and if you're far away from the mean in the low direction, you probably need to reassess your education program and if you're well above, you're doing something right but that's it. Don't fall for league tables, they're a trap for (ironically) the dumb.
(*Some rating systems may allow for ties in some slots)
You don't know what device you are connecting to so you don't know if power is an issue or not (realistically it will be but it's an assumption worth questioning).
OTOH, there are USB docks out there that do audio and video so perhaps that might have been an option to go to. I have no idea how compatible they would be with Android but I believe they just connect as standard USB devices with no fancy drivers needed.
I believe the poster was talking about the devices which imitate the strobe on emergency vehicles that triggers the green. A much simpler protocol and fairly easy to detect and engineer with low-cost equipment. Someone from around here (Tennessee) was charged with making such a device a few years ago.
Meh, Starting fully refreshed, four hours is nothing, depending on the road (interstates, light traffic). A couple of times I have even done 7 hours and been plenty refreshed at the end of it (You're sitting in a nice comfy chair, holding a wheel). It wasn't that I didn't want to stop, just that I felt no need to. Though I generally prefer to break things up a little. And if you're traveling with another driver, it takes seconds to pull over and swap.
Perhaps they should just hide it and make it possible for registered users to view it (after jumping through a hoop or two maybe) and tag it for reconsideration.
I know I had heard it used that way in the UK at least by the 90s because I remember being mildly surprised by an Australian friend having another friend with that name. I don't think it was in common use though but the UK gets a lot of American media.
Wish I could mod you up. The truth is that a lot of ads cause far more annoyance than they ever pay back to the sites they are on. If you ever look into it, rates for ads are abysmal. Unless you're bringing in a huge amount of views, it's usually not worth the bother and even if you are, it still might not be.
That would be more likely to be some portable MIB style device that sends a code to halt/delete recording. Something similar is already done for scanners and currency

I'll just add that TFA itself apparently doesn't fall for this (at least from what is in the summary)

Doesn't follow. There's a big difference between solicited and unsolicited email.

integrated steering wheel controls
For a second there, I had an image of a steering wheel app.

Diesel's actually pretty hard to get lit.
Break even on time tends to be closer to 5 hours and price is pretty much no-go for more than one person.

But if you can afford a 70k car, you probably also value your time a bit more highly also. Just something to consider.
It's not just the desktop. Even a headless install tends to drag half a dozen scripting languages in with it.

Good, balanced, objective post.
How much say did you get in how Microsoft, the laptop vendor and all those little annoying trialware app vendors configured the Windows install?
But it's a bridge to nowhere. And hey, you're taking my money at gunpoint.
Hehe. mod up :)
Even then, reading the key may not be useful if it can only be used to decrypt and not encrypt.
Good, bad, I'm the collective with the gun.
That's the difference.

I have altered your calling plan, yada yada
