I have had physical therapy using electrical stimulation, while it is somewhat painful I think anyone willing to go to mars would put up with it...I would again for the chance.
Having worked for both T&M (Santa Rosa) and CSO (unix shop in FC) 5 yr total, I decided they were f*cked in the long haul, so I started looking. It took about a week to find a job that paid 15K more for the same work and with a big stock option signing bonus. It ain't quite as cozy as HP, but it will pay off in the long run. Plus in a smaller company you can see what you do effecting it, whereas inside hp you rarely see an individual make a diffrence.
I have a lot of other issues with hp, but I won't bore you with a rant on that....
It runs at least as fast under linux as it does under win9*. I have a k6-233 and a 12mb voodoo2, and it uses svgalib, no X. Of course right now it's the only decent game I can run under linux, but the future looks bright!
DO NOT 'ldd core'!!!!!!!!

Ok, so I'm an idiot and i tried it.
It will reboot before you get your finger off the key. Ugly......thank you 'who ever the hell wrote it' for fsck
I just couldn't convince him that sendmail and a sparc5 could shutdown his duel p-ii NT machines until I got him on the phone and had a little conversation...
I just quit a job where I was administrator for 5 of these boxes. (diffrent model) We had to use Sun boxes to control them because the backup software wouldn't run on HPUX. Don't know if the server software runs on linux though. The software is from a company called Commvault. I have to use tape drives at my new job and i HATE them...I have been spoiled by the MO jukebox.
If you can afford the jukebox you can afford a small Sun box to control it (if it isn't ported to linux).
My 233 k6 OC'd to 250 has been up for 43 days! no problems, linux with loads up to 4.6! Of course win95 won't even boot while its OC'd, don't know why, don't expect i ever will...
the drivers work fine with 5.0, comment out the version check in nv-freebsd.h and run the install.

Sorry...please direct all complaints to Lagunitas Brewing Company...they are forcing me to drink their ipa this evening...
Some people aren't waiting around...

That would be Gore's pet project towards making 1984 a reality.
But you are right it is becoming harder to tell the diffrence..
Read the article, they use MAC addresses not the windoze serial number.
I haven't seen any problems with the computer division, but last year T&M came in about 40% under quota! Of course that's when I quit 5 months ago....
T&M lost money because of asia's problems mostly, but they were still way behind in the US market.

When the screen turns black just unplug the monitor from the 3d card and into your regular video card.

Me: Are you watching the screen?
Him: yeah
./sendmail -qRluser.com
Him: Hey I just got a BSOD!
Me: hehe, want to see it again?
Run top for a second and kill the process that's eating up your cpu. Don't leave top running though, it's a cpu hog too.
