    Isn't there a way to set a CPU Info flag in memmory to whatever the hell we want it to be?



    Even better, Virtual PC......running whatever the heck i say it's running, while also running my Skype client.



    Whatever the solution is, it can be rolled into a 2-5 MEG executabe library that'll just rape skype for all it's worth. I'm counting on Box.sk!

    http://runithard.com/HOWTO-BCOM64WIRELESS/ is a guide i wrote to using/creating a 64bit version of NDISWRAPPER but it can be used on non-64bit applications if you follow the same directions minus using the 64driver. There are no revenue generating links of adds on my site for all you evangelizing communists out in the slashdot world....

    Sounds like "speak easy links" that will be added to this browser are the type of advertising that firefox users try to avoid.

    I agree with this post on a software level for sure. Firefox isn't integrated into the shell so even if gets rooted; it shouldn't be able to cause as much trouble. It may get corrupted... but you'll still be able to open My Computer on your next boot ;-)

    Over many years, and accelerating rapidly post-NAFTA, the amount of truck traffic on I35 has caused (or at least been a major contributor to) gridlock in the urban areas.

    Being a truck driver.... It's not trucks that slow traffic, it's the morons driving the cars. Its amazing to me how a line of cars can sit for 20 seconds at a green light before they get moving. In 20 seconds I can get my truck rolling and be in 7th gear and be through the light.

    If people were fined for holding up traffic we'd see less issues. If an intersection has lights that rotate every 2 minutes... and you've got 20 seconds of wasted time. Than it's possible to increase volume by 18% just by making people GET MOVING.

    Big trucks drive like they own the road, because they own the road. It's our office, we don't bother you in your office.

    yah history videos are great, but ask a 10 year old whats more fun: watching a movie about car theft, or letting him play GTA3.

    Obviously video games are more interactive than movies. People like interaction.

    Video games are better byte for byte than video to spread your views. You can relay that bush is a retard by making a war game thats a 400k shockwave animation and distribute that a whole lot easier than a 650 meg svcd or 5 gig DVD.

    The best way to spread your views is to draw attention to them. Emailed shockwave games def do that.

    If you have a router.... with multiple terminals sharing 1 IP... doesnt that create reasonable doubt or which terminal - or which person was downloading / sharing? So isn't it impossible to prove guilt of any individual? So isn't that like 90% of us users who use a router? The only way to prove it is to get a warrent and search the property... bring it on. I doubt any of those dumbass's from the RIAA knows how to mount a ReiserFS partition...

    Here in Gardiner Maine(the woods) i pay 49.95 a month for 128up(which sux) and X(down) the don't list it. But i typically download linux iso's and such at between 500-900k a second.... most downloads on busy servers hit around 200k but you get the idea. We don't have new fangled things like (anything), but we've got the ability to look at others.

    Whats the deal?!?! AMD will not support or endorse a mother board that displays the ACTUAL clock speed for the chip instead of some stupid model number. Look at TomsHardWare.com

    "The BIOS of a motherboard that is supposed to get approval from AMD is not allowed to display the actual clock frequency, but only the model number!"

    The only other company that tried this underhanded tactic was cyrix who sold their PR(Performance Rated Chips), they sold
    166s as Cyrix PR200s. AMD is trying the same thing now. Cyrix died. Please don't tell me AMD is to lazy to come up with a real CPU core that can hit 2GHZ like the P4. I've always routed for AMD but i can not endorse these shady tactics.

    Turbo's dont usually take more fuel, the act like a powered blower and increase compression and air volume without needing a pull like a blower, so they should in theory be as efficient as a vehical without. Turbo's also out put as much garbage as any typical car. So they are very different from this system.... the Cat on cars removes some of the nasties..... so really the Robot has a super cat on it and not a Turbo.
