    Sounds like a systemic issue. If she was so frail that a 30 pound 4 year old could kill her she should of been in a facility. The kids shouldn't of been in a public place where they were a nuisance and a danger to others. That should probably be a fine of 20$. If you want to live in a place without the proper areas to ride bikes your kids don't get to ride bikes.

    There is a reason why "disabling peer to peer checkbox" increases your speed in the Blizzard downloader from 200kbs to 1200kbs. Peer to peer networks suck, sure they scale well enough -- but that's it. A mass distributer for a PAID service should never use something as lame as BitTorrent. The Wow patching is a great example of why BitTorrent sucks.

    BitTorrent is the poor mans file distribution system.

    What amazes me is their Senate voting to effectively shut down the source of over 1/3 of their power generation *before* they have even found a source to replace it.

    Typical response from people with small minds. How about the MILLIONS in high paying jobs it dumps into the local economy? It isn't like these people are going to stay and work at Walmart for 8$ an hour if the plant closes. Vermont like Maine(which I moved to Florida from) is run by short sighted liberals who run on SMUG and fail to embrace reality.

    That's a great statement and it's really incendiary but United States citizens are subject to the laws of their own country. We also can't kill people for being of an opposite political party, and genocide against a particular race is illegal.

    You should really wake up. The government protects it's own. The FBI is simply protecting the people who give it funding, and if you believe the FBI would side with whats RIGHT vs. what serves their best interests then you are a fool.

    Unless you ONLY can have 1 hard drive space isn't an issue.

    I run a Samsung 128GB SSD for my OS with 220/200MB read/write and a hitachi terabyte drive for storage. This thing FULLY boots Vista in under 30 seconds (to the desktop). It was over 2 minutes on a raid10 array with 4 7200RPM hard drives. SSD for programs and old mechanical for storage is the magic bullet right now.

    What makes an SSD own is the random seek time and the random write time. The rest of the numbers don't drive the user experience. Having an extra 20MBs sequential write speed doesn't make much of a difference.

    Seriously, everyone knows that human wants and needs are more important than some stupid fish being able to hear. Its not like they need sound for anything.

    I actually sort of agree with this to an extent(human life/nation interests trump animal rights), however there has to be a better solution.

    Shark use EM fields to detect life. Maybe we can strap sharks with sensor pods reading their brainstems.

    After all, no one cares about sharks.

    Exactly. This ubuntu linux has become an AMAZING desktop OS.

    I use the server distro and the desktop OS and I can tell you the user experience is light years ahead of RedHat or Novell.
