  1. Run 3 Networks MAX! on How Best To Deal With WiFi Interference? · · Score: 1

Only run 3 networks on channel 1, 6 and 11 (and 14 if you want, it is actually spaced as far as 1 is from 6 etc etc, regardless of channel number! Although may be illegal, unless in Japan). Running more than one AP on the same channel in the same area will cause CSMA lockdown and you will be disappointed.

  2. Re:Use only channel 1,6 and 11. on How Best To Deal With WiFi Interference? · · Score: 1

On the lowest level you have the radio spectrum. Channel 1, 6 and 11 does not interfere with each others frequencies at all. Channel 3 interferes with both channel 1 and 6 (with the wider 802.11g channels)

Actually, they are considered acceptable spacing because the 20mhz channels don't overlap, each channel is spaced 5mhz apart, but even when each of the three 1, 6 and 11 20Mhz channels sit side by side, there is still plenty of harmonic interference, it's just considered "acceptable".

The rules and regulations are all set in place to make a buck. A level playing field like what the G9 Consortium in Australia asked Telstra to do makes total sense to me. Denying carriers of this freedom on the EMR spectrum only benefits the interests of Corporations pockets. Take VoIP for example, your experiences good or bad, the standards, protocols and codecs are all quite sufficient alone to produce quality calls and reduce the consumers cost, effectively putting money right back into your pocket. To me that is more patriotic than investing in a Corporation.

Inserting such an object into someones brain I believe should only be done in extreme cases. I don't see why this can't be done with some embedded computing in a cap or hat with electrodes and a bio-feedback mechanism. Headphones with binaural beats and eyeglasses running alphawave patterns. Surely this neat device could prevent the need to insert a chip in many cases. Bio-feedback EEG is already being used for Epilepsy at www.adhd.com.au and there has been an open source eeg for years at http://openeeg.sf.net/ Quantative EEG (http://www.adhd.com.au/QEEG.htm) databases to give us the mean to write protocols for normalizing brain function.
