For all of you who have "set up a machine" for their parents and it "works just fine", I submit that requiring an expert to set up a system for an end user is the very definition of "not ready". And how exactly is that different from Windows? I'm definitely not a Linux fanboi, but Windows is not ready to be set up by my parents (without my help) either.
Required to enter secure room at work - (I believe this is in use in some places today)
Optional to enter secure room at work, with the alternative being a time-consuming strong password, a card swipe and a retinal scan
Optional as part of criminal home monitoring - either remain in jail or stay at home with an implant kept near the bedside monitor, instead of an ankle bracelet
Bad ideas. Cloning RFID chips is a no-brainer. And entering secure rooms? Seriously, use a fscking key...
They can, even though the sentence would probably have to run along the lines of "Wayforward technologies, unlike such major companies as Microsoft, shows goodwill..."
(Apologies to Douglas Adams)
A visit to any UK international airport terminal leaves no doubt either - you are a dangerous terrorist until proven otherwise. As opposed to airports in...?
Spyware, Viruses, Addware, Internet Adds, ways around popup blockers, DRM, Military Software, and even Closed Source Software were all were done with people who can code. They are republicans who can code Even though I tend to believe that, you should probably find some evidence supporting that theory before blaming only republicans:)
Name a UMPC that is. Or one that was a hit really.
The problem is that the Macbooc Air is not really good at being an UMPC either.
If I want a notebook I intend to carry around a lot, I want it to be small, not just
flat. (and I want an Ethernet socket, but that is not really the point)
Funny, I thought Quake 3, GTA etc. had blood in them. And there were Nazis in Medal of Honour. But since you clearly know what you are talking about, I must be mistaken.
2:1 is probably of by orders of magnitude. I know at least ~20 people in my surrounding who use PS, not one of them actually bought it. I know, anecdotal evidence, but I seriously doubt that this is an exception.
I'm looking forward to telling my Swiss friends that they are no longer Europeans, since (for the lack of a better word) members of the European Union call themselves Europeans.

I wonder why that doesn't seem the least bit reassuring to me...
But it does! http://amarok.kde.org/en/node/446 :)
Why would people who have used Amarok voluntarily switch to iTunes? (not trolling, just puzzled and genuinely interested)

They are not outlawed in Germany, they are just not considered a religion.
Why does it even have to be a foreign power? I could think of plenty domestic powers with an interest in influencing the voting process...

Is there anyone who didn't?
