Since 4GB is Vista's supposed "sweet spot", this seems to make sense. But the addition of RAM (which I could not find anywhere in the article that said it would be standard) is partly due to the price of 2GB modules "likely" dropping. If I was a memory manufacturer, and knew the big names in notebooks were going to quadruple memory, you better believe I'm raising prices.
If 4GB ends up being standard, it's more like "consumer pays for" standard, than "steering wheel in a car" standard. This seems more "likely" to me.
I am curious myself, as to "how small" that asteroid may have been. With that information, we could ask "At what point, or from what distance, can we actually see something that small?"
Yes, but not that full-blown up-to-date terrorism, just the old unpatched, behind-the-times kind. It seems the attacker has left himself vulnerable to attack himself.
I'm not a Mac user at all, but I'm will to bet, there is a substantial number of pirated, unpatched copies of Windows out there that you can count each one as a vulnerability in itself.
Seriously, what happened to the good old days when you could just:
1. Follow them home from the grocery
2. Tail them from a car/taxi/bicycle
3. Hide out in the donut shop across from their work
4. Pretend to be a jogger/homeless bum in the park
5. Break into the house across the street and set up a stakeout
6. Hide in their backseat under a blanket
7. Put on camouflage and pretend you are a bird
8. Dress up in a gorilla suit
9. Paint yourself 'brick' colored
10. Mini submarines!?!?!?!?

On the bright side, this cuts down on some of the cancer causing airwaves, but I have a feeling this will cause the return of Max Headroom.

Dam! Maybe next time I'll remember to change the checksum too!

I said it would never happen, but I was wrong. My LOTR/Hobbit DVD collection WILL take up more space than my VHS Godfather collection!
I love the second screenshot:
All you bases are belong to my browser!
I can only hope there will be some XP in my stocking! My old coasters are just plain worn out!
Maybe Windows isn't UNIX, but it was created by a bunch of UNIX. Wait, did I spell that right?
A little precognitive slashdot response, huh? Must've been burning a hole in your clipboard...
I swear, if any of those emails appear to be from me, they are just 'Out of Office Replies'!

This technology stuff is crap I tell you.
