One of the main problems with FireWire was that it required expensive cables due to the high quality cables needed to carry the bulk power. With this spec change and the data model for SS USB, have we now got a high tech FireWire-- with all of the disadvantages and none of the advantages (I.e. daisy chaining. Guarantees about latency etc).
He is refering to the USB Mass Storage class, they implement an interface to write sectors using the "SCSI transparent command set" they do not implement any particular filesytem, That said they usually do come pre-formatted for fat 32. but use of fat is up to the user, I use ZFS on mine.
yeah I have to agree with you on that one. but i like osx alot and the mac design realy is unmatched i have been using macs since 1999 and since 10.2 OSX really is better than OS9 or windows. so I agree with you. Noet though on pure compute my Mac Pro was cheaper than the dell equivelent at the time.
I am in year 10 at Merewether high school in Newcastle this is a selective school. The reason that students are encouraged not to do the top mathematics course at my school is a simple one. people who are not good enough to get through (most people but only a few at my school) tend to crash and burn as this subject tends to have not only your standard school maths but also higher maths. for example the prerequisite for computer science is either a minor in mathematics if you live in the ACT or Extension 1 maths if you live in NSW. Extension 1 maths is not even the difficult course, The Top course is extension 2 maths. "Mathematics" is a 120 hr/yr course "Extension 1 Mathematics" is 180 hr/yr course and "Extension 2 Mathematics" is a 240 hr/yr course. If you have one hour periods this equates to 4 , 6 or 8 periods respectively. most people move from SC (yr 10 mandatory) maths to either 2 or 3 unit maths as 4 unit is just such a hard course. (note 4 unit maths is only offered in Yr 12.
Since when does $7m get you a large data center, more like a single rack...

Perhaps you can have the TB controller on the video card, you then have all you need, the video, and the PCIe. and Bingo.
Actually no-it was not, The analytical engine was to be powered by a steam engine.
Aurora actually works rather well, given that I am running a 5 year old machine.
he is not saying that it can solve NP problems, he is saying that things such as factorization that are not thought to be in P are definitely in BQP
Try any NP complete problem, this includes traveling salesman graph reduction and many others. lots and lots of problems.
Actually Microsoft has been told by the courts that they myst provide open API's.
CH3CH2COCH2CH3 is ethan-2-one
pst. it is Jurisdiction. Otherwise good argument

No it is obvious that she was expected to use IP over Avian Carriers RFC 1149 RFC 2549
they already try to do this, that is why osx86 exists.
Ever Heard of protected memory?

This has the graphics card for testing you have allways dreamed of and the only CPU that you could use for compiling that large app.
Yeah by about 500 USD but in the begining og a cycle tey are momentarily comparible.
Eh no there is a beta of Rhino for OSX that I use at the moment for a few CAD type projects myself. And for the next release this will be not a beta!!
Actually the video says that the gas actually does get up to 6000K
