Penny-Arcade brought up this issue up recently after Jeff Gerstmann was basically let go from Gamespot because he gave a less than favorable review of a game that they were heavily advertising on their site. That's the problem when sites that review games are also on said games advertising payroll.
I could see where there might be patterns depending on how often they change the balls and clean the insides of the machines.
Also there's a book about rigging the lotto called The Winner by David Baldacci. He gets a job cleaning the machines and takes 2 sprays that repel each other. Puts one inside by the exit hole and the other on all the balls but the one he wants to come up.
If you look at it from developers, it's exactly four. Final Fantasies and Kingdom Hearts are both from are Square Soft (now Square-Enix). Grand Theft Auto is Rockstar, Metal Gear Solid is Konami, and Gran Turismo is Polyphony Digital.
Speaking of which...I haven't heard much from Square lately...am I just missing what they've been up to (besides pumping out FFs) or have they just been lazy?
It has been shown that there is a strong positive corrolation between ice cream consumption and the murder rate. Does this mean that one causes the other? No. it's because both numbers tend to incease with hot weather wikipedia.org. Just because two things line up does not mean that one is caused by the other.
It seems like I'm in the minority around here but the Wheel of Time easily my favorite series (Dragonlance and Dark Elf books included). I know it's not for everyone, especially since you really need to read it more than once to pick up on all the things that are going on. You say he rambles on, but there are references in the first book that don't actually happen until the 11th. (Severed hands anyone?)
Is the world too complex for you? Get Reference Guide I know it can be slow at times, but don't know the series until you've read all the books that are out.
Finally, the study has also found that the Nintendo Wii has seen more than twice the number of retail and downloadable game titles than either the PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360 in the first 7 months after each platform's launch.
...And how many games on the Wii are rated M? None.
Interesting...
He would probably respond by asking game makers to make another game, only this time it's about the father whose kid was killed by a violent gamer. The father then decides to go on a rampage to kill everyone who helped make the game that enraged said gamer.

Qwerty is not the best solution, it is just that so many of us are used to it so it would be extremely difficult to change.
