The openstreetmap project hasmade quite a lot of progress, For example, they have mapped the entire Isle of man in much more detail than google etc. They have also been donated data to help with the project.
c'mon, not much else exciting happens around here!.
TV links was great though, I watched quite a lot of hignfy with it. FACT are a bunch of tw*ts, it's because of them that I can't skip through a dvd, to watch content that I have actually paid for.
Frankly, I don't give a shit about SEO, and would never pay anyone to do it. I run a few websites, ranging in size. They all have a decent search results in google. This isn't because I spent ages getting linked to and setting up google optimisations. The sites are based on their content, If the sites are interesting and people want to read them, they will find out. How did google become so popular? They were a good search, and it spread by word of mouth, to what it has become today.
If you feel you have to use SEO, then your site probably isn't worth looking at in the first place.
SEO=googlespam
I run a couple of completely non tech related websites, and the stats for last month break down like this:
Windows 71.1 %
Linux 14.6 %
Unknown 11.4 %
Macintosh 2.7 %
I know this is very unscientific, but it just serves as an indicator that the stats can be wildly different.
It is probably understandable how laptops and PC's get stolen, as maybe an opportunistic theft, but how the fuck can someone just wander off with a server? This presents two reasons why it was stolen
1. It was stolen for the hardware, so have a look on ebay soon
2. It was stolen for the data that the machine contained, which is probably more concerning.
No, silverlight is not supported on linux. They will always be playing catchup to a proprietary 'standard', So the chance is that the unofficial client will not support all of the features.
And Silverlight is already working on Macs, so the question of Silverlight being "compatilble with non-Windows operating systems" is more 4-month old FUD.

There are more operating systems than windows and mac. If silverlight was an open standard then it would work on any Operating system

This is just like the news stories that 'predict' that we will all have walking robots in our homes in a years time.
