Besides, methanol's only uses are as a fuel and as a raw material for making other compounds. When you burn or catalyze the Methanol as fuel, you get the CO2 back again, and when those other compounds are eventually consumed or destroyed, you get the CO2 back again (and other noxious compounds, by the way).
Now, I'm no scientist, so don't yell at me if i get something wrong, here. But wouldn't that mean that if we found a way use that methanol to power whatever it was was we were getting CO2 from in the first place, that we could just use it over and over again?
3. You say you do not believe God exist because their is no proof that God exist. Why do you always fail to say that there is no proof that God does not exist?
Hey, there's no proof that I'm not god, either. So does that mean I am?
I especially dig the phrase "I'll probably get flamed and moderated down for this", since almost every post I see with this phrase gets moderated up. Moderators, they are playing with your mind. It's almost like the poster is say "nah nah, I dare you to moderate me up!"
Haha... I was thinking the EXACT same thing when I read that post...
Geez, you're ripping on this guy... ever stop to think that maybe he wasn't trying to act smart, and maybe just actually THOUGHT that the plural was virii?
It's probably a very common mistake, considering the amount of times I've heard the word used.
You can't forget to outlaw e-mail and ftp while you're at it... hell, why not just outlaw any form of digital communication... it could be used for piracy! <gtshakes head> Dr. E

Uh oh... they're going to be sorry for that one. They're entering Microsoft's domain now! With the possible release of a console by M$... this could only lead to one thing.. Microsoft trying to crush Sega! Since M$ thinks that they own the internet, Sega will obviously become a threat...
Well, at least maybe this will keep M$ off of Sony's back for a while;)
Yes, the playstation's hardware may be WAY outdated... and Sega may have great internal software development... but the PSX's third parties keep on amazing me.
On such an old and (comparatively) slow machine, companies like Squaresoft are doing things that defy the limitations that it was thought to have.
Now, I know that the Dreamcast can blow the PSX out of the water right now when it comes to power, but, really... where it DOES matter is the games, of which the playstation has shitloads. You're BOUND to find one you like, and you can get used ones relatively cheaply. (I get games for $10 at electronics boutique) And one of the things that (I think) will make the psx2 great is that not only will it have 50+ release titles... it will also be able to play all the games already made. Sure the graphics wont be near the same quality, but you'll be able to play classics like Lunar (well, if you can find a copy next year) and the FF's. And for right now, I'm sticking with the system that I KNOW has many great games, and not taking a gamble on one that has a couple now, and may or may not have any more.

from one of the greatest books ever written... Neuromancer.
Don't yell at me if I get this wrong, I'm trying to do it from memory.
Wintermute (an AI): "I don't know. You might say that what I am is basically defined by the fact that I don't know, because I CAN'T know."
Now, that's talking about an artificial intelligence... but really, is there that much of a difference between AI and an uploaded brain?

Hey, is it just me, or does this remind anyone ELSE of Dixie from Gibson's Neuromancer?

What's with this...
Just because they use Linux doesn't mean jack shit.
That's saying something like "Well, Hitler once saved a kitten from the cold.. see? he's not all bad!"
-- Dr E. --
Well, let's be very glad they aren't running windows...
I can see it now...
"HELP! SOMEONE IS TRYING TO KILL ME AND TURN ME INTO STONE!"
"Allright, sir... now where are y... er... um, could you hold on a sec... I have to reboot..."

Kick ass.

Is it just me, or is that post really contradicting?
The guy is quoting the bible, yet look at the sig...

Allright, that was funny.

Allright, so why did that first one get moderated up, yet this one down?
Is it just because it was posted by an AC?

Moral of this posting: don't just think of the material. Sometimes other people can be as good any present...
Amen. My ideal gift would be to be able to spend more time with my girlfriend. That would be a lot better than any object I could recieve.
Dr. Eldarion
What I want this christmas is a Lincoln LS
Yeah, I wish. Anyways, cashews would be nice. Lots and lots of cashews.
I think the best gift for anyone (even though it may seem very impersonal) is money. That way they can go spend it on whatever they want to.

Sega's going to focus on the internet, huh?
