i too find the rock band drums kind of hard. i find it very odd having just 4 heads all angled and non-adjustable, and the foot pedal isn't exactly in the best position either. i play guitar and drums and the guitar didn't take as much time to get used to, the drums on the other hand just throws me off in many ways. 3 of the heads keep switching from cymbals to toms, and none of them are in my usual position. i really wish they had used a roland or yamaha (style) electronic kit, it wouldn't be that difficult having 6-8 sequences over the 5 they have now. nonetheless, i still have fun playing it and will get good at it hopefully.
When I first read this article my only thought was "goodbye college radio"... but your point is so very true. This will shoot the 'AAs squarely in the foot. Radio stations can't afford to pay for music. What makes you think radio stations or schools can not pay for music? My crappy little community college pays fees to ASCAP, BMI, and SESAC (I think) just to play music in the gym and cafeteria. Those fees are actually paid by me and the other students in our tuition. I'm sure it wouldn't be THAT expensive considering college radio isn't exactly the hottest spot to find new/signed artists. And as far as regular terrestrial radio, good, they have enough advertisements they can stop lining their own pockets or fail miserably with the extra 40 minutes per hour of commercials. Satellite radio and internet already have to pay, terrestrial may as well join the club.
It's official. Ogg technology has been removed from the HTML5 spec, after Ian caved in the face of pressure from Apple and Nokia. Well Apple is involved, so maybe the public will be loseless after all!
Is it just me or does it seem like all the new EA demos have some sort of "HOME" look and feel to them? I haven't seem them on 360 so have nothing to compare to, is there any difference?
Fair use is limited to reasonable excerpts. Otherwise, what's stopping me from copying an entire movie, then adding "I liked this movie" at the end. Lack of quality movies?
What's 150mil in the film industry these days? 3-4 non-blockbusters, 1-2 major releases? To go to one format just for 18 months at that price seems ridiculous.
Thanks for the info. Looks like they make you buy in a 5-year block now, when I got mine years ago it was just $4 yearly. I'm licensed now and never really looked into IDs since.

(looks at the calender) Oh shit, its an entire month early!
and I don't see the likes of a Michael J Fox or Muhammad Ali using this any time soon.
Actually he was the obscene phone caller. Just very delusional thinking this girl was his girlfriend.

A bit off topic, but is there any chance of this game, or other new ones running in bootcamp? Still on Windows here and have no idea what it can run.

You don't have to show proof of your ability to drive a car, a State ID works just fine, they're like $4 (here in IL).
