Poor AT&T didn't realize they were going to piss off over 40 million WoW players....
Someone's missing the point of TFA... Christ you didn't even have to read TFA to get it! How many people do you know that play WoW on their iPhone, chief? 40 million? Shit! And all this time I've been staying locked up in my bedroom!
And who modded parent +3 Interesting? Are you serious?
Use protocols that ISPs can't examine the contents of?
And that does what to convey to the general public that we should prevent ISP's from handling traffic discriminately? We'd be better off spending our time trying to educate folks on the values of net neutrality, rather than why they (the vast majority who are not tech savvy in the least) should install some form of encryption, etc.
A much better question is, how can we maximize the rewards to our paying customers for providing us with the income we need to pursue our chosen path of software development?
Someone get this man a cookie... that's the best philosophy I've heard in years.
To my knowledge most rebate handling companies are given x amount of dollars to in turn give out y dollars to the customers. Whatever is leftover is theirs to keep.
x - y = profit
So they're not really inclined to process every single rebate form that comes through there.
