    You don't, I know some small websites I go to that have ads that aren't blocked because they use a unique advertising server, I did block them once, but I lost my custom blacklist and I'm too lazy

    Users can choose applications that properly sync, or in the case of free software, they can put fflush(fp); fsync(fileno(fp)); in strategic places and recompile.

    It IS a requirement, and the only people who are angry at having IE as default are the few nerds who read slashdot and disproportionately rant and yell at how bad it is. All of them have easily switched, and the 95% of regular computer users will just look at the ballot screen and click Internet Explorer.

    Perfect. I don't know why these people think Windows Vista/7 will prevent you from copying data which you can already copy now. The DRM features are there so that when people accidentally buy DRM movies, they can watch them, instead of being presented with a codec error.

    Look at ThePirateBay. The most popular codecs are H.264 and others like Xvid and DivX. There's almost no videos in the .ogg format, and when you do find a video that is .ogg, it's such a huge file size that you go back to look for a smaller file encoded in a better format.

    It still works with passwords or more than 1 user account. You "instant boot" to the logon screen instead of the desktop.
