I already saw someone else mention Dia. I'm checking it out as we speak. Dia looks okay to me. If I can just map out my network with it, I'm content. Thanks anyway
Okay, so probably there will never come a Linux port of this software now. Are there any alternatives?

Seems like the three people previous to myself have killed the webserver over at gnustep. This is a pitty, I wonder what webserver they are using.
BTW anyone think of a solution to the/.effect ? Surely it's just going to get worse.
I think the problem is that the GNUStep site doesn't have much bandwidth. I vaguely remember the GNUstep site mentioning this. So yes, it *is* going to get worse:-(
Geez, I thought this shouldn't need explaining, but here goes:
X is *NOT* a GUI!!!
read: man X
Anyway, besides that, it's very cool to see this sorta stuff happening. I used to use Delphi in school and I thought it rocked. I just wonder if they're gonna use runtime libraries to sort out the cross-platform (read Linux/*NIX Win32) porting issues, and not to mention how to deal with KDE and/or GNOME based toolkits.
This is going to be interesting. I'll just sit back and watch:-)
True, I got colleagues at work to install the Red Hat distro, but because they are linux/unix novices, they had a working system, but didn't know how to operate it (yet). They are tinkering with it now though, and swamping me with questions:-)
Nice to see those people rewarded for their hard work. DDJ is actually a nice magazine too, unbiased of operating systems and stuff. What really annoyed me that the announcer guy kept misprenouncing Linux and Linus' name. Becker said he admired Linus' management skills, although he knew that that would make Linus cringe:-) Great that Guido van Rossum got awarded. He deserves that award.
I was wondering when you were going away anyway. I guess it won't be hard for you to find a new place where much more innovation is taking place. Or are you going to do the open source deal and live off donations, kinda like Alan Cox does?

MS opens source for NT5. They claimed to have stuffed the source in a few lines and opened half of their source. It looked something like this
}Of course, that was segfault
(Yeah moderate this down if you like. Whatever)
I guess this puts quite a dent in Corel's reputation for the OSS people.
Corel just went down a couple of places in my 'cool companies that do stuff with linux' list.
bummer, huh?

the hidden tags I mean :-P
Don't you recognize sarcasm when you see it?
:-)
Look closely for the hidden tags
Wow... Dia looks good. I'll give it a whirr. I guess I found my alternative.
Heck, I might mess around with the code a bit. Lessee wat happens...
You can trust Microsoft to bloat the thing full of "features" you probably never need :-)

See subject
Two syllables: Amen!
:-)
Now let's get back to delphi on Linux, okay?
