Apparently, you're one of the people whose thoughts race along the same patterns as those who created Office 2007.
Me, I gave up on Excel after 10 minutes looking for anything allowing to enable Macros. Actually felt like crying when attempting to reformat document according to certain set of styles. And got bewildered by mundane outlook of Outlook interface.
Hmm. Apparently there is some logic to this - "We could have done everything we could to spoil experience of advanced users... but Outlook is already perfectly suited for this, so let's leave it alone".
Of course, I could waste two weeks (or less) attempting to refocus on new Office suite. Still, there should have been at least a searchable map of the layout of all functions instead of... "learn by clicking and guessing" method.
For the sake of completeness, current state of knowledge (basing on news provided by www.enworld.org) is that GSL (4E counterpart of 3E's OGL) will be closer to d20 license, and that GSL document will be an index of items from core books made available through license.
Also, GSL is likely to be prohibitive toward 3rd party products of the following types: - new rule systems supplementing/replacing core rules, - software game aids.
In other words, say goodbyes to 4E PcGen and 4E Mutants and Masterminds.

Open any book on any page. You should find many paragrpahs of neatly formatted text in a legible font.
Dealing with disabilities, among other things, is about preserving usability of the content instead of focusing on fancy side of things.
