The suggestions for what to change at the end of the article make far to much sense for the government to ever seriously consider implementing them. Why would a bureaucrat want to simplify himself out of a job?
Long version: I've always considered the pro global warming argument couched wrong. I think an easier way to look at it is to realize (and convince others) that we are engaged in an experiment of epic proportions with our atmosphere by digging up, and putting back into the atmosphere hundreds of millions of tons of CO2 that was sequestered as fossil fuels millions of years ago. No one can really predict the outcome (at least enough to convince the real naysayers) but it is incredibly short sighted and arrogant to assume that there is absolutely no effect. On top of that since a lot of Christians believe that the earth is only about 6,500 years old, it makes them even more difficult to convince.
Creationism does not in anyway detract from evolution. Some people on both sides think creationism and evolution can not exist together...
Except as I recall Christian 'creation theory' holds that the earth is only about 6,500 years old....evolutionary timescales are (generally) significantly longer.

I take the average of my 'best case' and 'worst case' estimates then add 30%. Work out very well typically, what I'm really shooting for is to come in at a bit under the final estimate. Making sure that business understands that scope changes affect the estimate and documenting / communicating scope changes when they come up is critical.
Yes because they're planning on knocking on your door to send you to the reeducation camp any day now to train you as an engine lathe operator comrade, for the greater glory of the state of course....
The Comrade crap sure does make for the giant 'easy' button in push button politics though doesn't it?
Bonus points for your oh so original wit and don't forget to keep that tin foil hat on in case the government brain rays get you.

I concur, I noticed while watching a history show about the Medici that one of them spent a full month to travel from Florence to Rome back in the 14th century or thereabouts.
Google maps says Rome to Florence is: 284 km â" about 2 hours 51 mins

How was the cop able to force them to turn the camera off? That seems...oh I don't know, evil I guess is the word.

Short version: We're screwed.

They should no longer be allowed to depict drunk driving in PSAs on TV out of respect for the victims of DUI fatalities according to their own logic.
