Nope. I cant access youtube at the moment, but there's a video of Canadian Ezra Levant being interrogated by his own government. His crime: He published a cartoon with a Muslim.
So much for free speech. Looks like Canada is becoming even more tyrannical than Australia.
From Wikipedia [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ezra_Levant]:
"Soharwardy's complaint was ultimately withdrawn, and a complaint he filed with Calgary police came to naught."
Looks Canada isn't very good at being tyrannical.
Well the most current release of Amarok is a KDE 3 application, which is why it's GUI looks dated. Amarok 2 for KDE4 should be out somewhat soon, and it will have a GUI update.
I go to Carleton University. The compromised system was purely administrative, and I sure as hell hope it was tuned to security. A quote from the TFA:
"With the information, the hacker could also have accessed e-mails, course registrations, library records and personal financial information about loans and scholarships." Add housing information (for residence students) and employee information to that list as well.
The fact that this guy could have dropped me from all of my classes and then changed my login information is a little disconcerting.
Seems he has actually been fired: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/story/2013/01/30/game-developer-draws-ire.html
Assuming your correct, there is clearly something wrong with the process. Regardless, describing Canada as "tyrannical" is completely ridiculous.

That must have taken a lot of monkeys.

Our conservatives != your conservatives.

Or because it's easier to tell people to simply restart the router then it is to explain to them the dhcp release/renew process.
Seems to be a poor summarization - the article makes no mention of detecting eavesdropping (which would be impossible).
