    The company my das works for used to sell a chemical that emulsifies gas so if like a tanker ruptures on the road u spray this stuff on it and immediately you could use a blowtorch on it all day and have 0 chance of lighting it.

    I had a server that ran Windows for a year with no AV or anything and I was not even that careful with it, I would browse the web occasionally and install stuff.
    It had ZERO viruses after over a year.
    I don't think geeks have anything to worry about viruses if you are careful.

    A manager's drive died after having a waterfall in his office from the roofing guys leaving holes in the roof from their anchors.
    There is a walk in freezer that would have been perfect, but my boss thought freezing was a joke and wouldn't work after sending it off to some guy that tried software recovery.

    there's also a system of using no power at all by evaporating water to remove the heat while only powering a fan.

    unbibium is not the temporary name for element 112, it is probably the name for 122 which is even after ununoctium, but 112 which they probably mean is really called ununbium.

    (I have a large periodic table hanging on my wall if you must ask how I know these things)

    There are 3 professors I know of who wrote their own book (well one is technically just notes and questions but it is as good as a book)

    one has it free for students in his class on his website

    one has it free for students in his class on his website and has an arrangement for really cheap printing if you want.

    one sells it in the bookstore for a lot of money and the other professor who teaches the course switched to a free book halfway through.

    the publishers get about 65% of the money, the store about 20% and the author about 10%

    most professors make between $80k and $130k per year at my university.
    Associate professors make a little less with most between $50k and 90k per year.

    and I can prove it if you ask.

    now why do you think that $100k is a bad salary?

    I already do, but when I upgraded to the beta firefox doesnt support it anymore.
    It does like a google, yahoo, ... search every 6 seconds on average with bursts.
