    Next, people complain about Linux usability? apt-get install mplayer k3b, etc? It is not harder, just different. Tell it my sister... She can download and install stuff, but going to a console is too much for an average user.

    Not a bad idea. The electorate should just choose some random person to be president every 4 years, and surprise them with the news at work one day. Like 'Solar Lottery' by Phillip K. Dick?

    The box looks nice too. Let's be honest and give Microsoft credit where credit is due. But plastic isn't environment friendly, so no, they screwed it up as well.

    By quality, do you mean bitrate or a more subjective quality of the material? If the latter, the studios most certainly want variable pricing. It's Jobs that's forcing the uniform $0.99 pricing.
