    To do IRL Wipeout it would be far easier to build some kind of hovercraft, along these lines:

    These are closer to regular old hovercrafts, I'm thinking something more like a VTOL craft that uses a combination of lifting thrust and ground-effect aerodynamic lift.

    In any case you can forget about the big jumps.

    It's enough for people to be scared enough that software developers of popular bittorrent clients (say uTorrent, for example) implement this feature in a user-friendly fashion (click here not to be traced on-line).

    If switching to i2p torrents were that simple it would have been done long ago. No, all torrents have to be re-seeded on the darknet, all trackers have to be moved onto the darknet too. It's comparable to the switch from IPv4 to IPv6. And this may provide the incentive to put in the work.

    This is where all the productivity improvements have gone, why we're not working 2-3 days a week or any of that other utopian stuff futurists thought was coming. There have been productivity improvements, HUGE ones, it's just that it's all collecting at the top where we don't see any of it.

    Wow, I downloaded a shitload of addons (all free) but didn't get my MSFS2k install anywwhere near 10GB 8-(

    Still want to get it running in a VM, I had such a HUGE amount of mods on that install...

    The religious right in the US has been getting more vocal and agitated, with candidates like Rick Perry, Palin and Bachmann getting serious attention. Anti-islamic sentiment is clearly spreading. If things go down that path who's to say there won't be a Crusades 2.0?
