    "What's On Your Hotel Keycard"

My hotel keycard has the little logo graphic of the hotel on the front of it and a memory storage device on the back. There's also a small mustard stain on it. What kind of data is stored within the memory on the card is an entirely different thing.

    To quote George Carlin:

"About this time, they'll be telling you, 'Get on the plane. Get on the plane.' Well I say fuck you, I'm getting IN the plane. Let Evel Knievel get ON the plane. I'll be inside with the folks in uniform."

Saying that you don't need to code to the [x]html specs while claiming that you're simply "evolving the language" is like saying: "I'm going to write ANSI C code without semi-colons in order evolve the language."

couldn't this be used is a torture device? if you were to record "brain music" that is completely contradictive of the person's brain who is listening to it, they might go crazy :)

anyways, this is extremely cool and i can't wait until this makes it to the mainstream so i can try it out. i'm going to have to show this to my friends who are music therapy majors.

perhaps if the editors would do some research before posting to make sure that the body of the post is in fact true at the time of posting we wouldn't unneeded slashdot effects running rampid.

but eh, whatever. bsd users don't need a reminder from a linux-centric society that a new version is out. we're always cvsup'ing religiously anyways.

    good job, chrisd.

yes, i agree. i have a Dell Latitude CP with FreeBSD on it and everything works great. i end up using it as much as, if not more than my desktop boxen.

battery life is about 4-5 hours with the brightness at medium (i got it used and i don't think the battery is up to par). anyways, if you don't have the money for a brand new laptop, i'd suggest finding a latitude CP on ebay.
