As a Christian I believe we should be rational because God is a logical God and we are created in His image.

You're building your house on shaky foundation. You assume there is a god or gods before going on about logic and creation. First prove the existence of a god. Just one, there have been thousands throughout human history.

They weren't addressed because they were only issues in the collective minds of the McCain drones. Similar to Creationists who have no hard evidence but still stomp their feet and cry.

Name-calling ("Socialist!") and peripheral acquaintances are not real issues but those are all the McCain mudslingers could come up with.

Real facts (ie.: McCain voting with Bush ~90% of the time) are all verifiable.

I've used OpenBSD for many years (early 2.x days). Before asking questions on the list it helps to gooooogle and read until your eyes are bleeding. OpenBSD has (IMHO) the best manpages of any *nix system I've ever used. The FAQ and How-Tos on the site are excellent as well.

I've had a few replies from questions I've answered both on and off-list and the people have always been helpful. That includes the few exchanges I've had with Theo over the years.

In short: exhaust your reading and searches before asking questions on the lists. The OS is free, but developers' time is limited.

I contacted Canadian medicare and was told that the closest appointment they could give me was EIGHT MONTHS away. It would be another SIX MONTHS after the consult to have any testing I needed done then another SIX MONTHS to see the doctor for my results.

This whole post reeks of US FUD.

First off: you don't contact "Canadian medicare", there is no such thing. You contact your doctor who schedules you with a specialist.

Fact:I went to my doctor on a scheduled check up and because of some minor thing he wanted me to see a cardiologist. It wasn't an emergency and I was there in about 2.5 weeks. An emergency (your "ASAP" situation) certainly would have gotten you in faster.

It's a "war" that can't be won. There's no real central point of authority to surrender. In a conventional war (if there is such a thing) the losing side signs off on it, the winner reap the spoils and everyone rebuilds. But at $10B a month it keeps a lot of Republican supporters in business.
