Yes, because no one has ever obtained a hunting license and then legally hunted on federal or state owned game lands. Oh, wait, they have.

Obviously I was being facetious. I have a feeling that this is more of a protest for the majority of these people. I'm not sure what part of the nation you are referring to, as it appears that it's not just "that part". From TFA:

two weeks ago when the tally of personal checks made out to the town hit 983 [Deer Trails' own population is about 560] and $19,006. The checks came from all over the U.S.

Perhaps you've already huffed paint fumes one too many times to realize that there are citizens who aren't very happy about having drones used on the civilian population. You know, big brother, eye-in-the-sky and all. Maybe, just maybe some people believe this will draw a little more attention to the issue.

I can't say I've heard of a "solid planet". I have heard of rocky planets with an atmosphere though. Just what do you plan to land on, on Saturn? I suppose you could get lucky and find something being tossed around in the atmosphere, but good luck with that. You sure as hell aren't going to land on anything solid like a core. The last I checked it is probably metallic hydrogen surrounded by liquid hydrogen. It's unlikely we will ever have the technology to build anything that can reach that and remain intact, let alone "land".

Our government has also been very critical of other countries conducting these types of exercises too. Of course reaction is more nuanced than "ZOMG, missiles!". But in this situation, our president has been pretty clear that he wants to blow up some stuff. Skipping a rock seems pretty provocative after all of the recent talk of retaliation.

Do your cables use oxygen-free copper, though? I'm sick of oxygen messing my pixels up!.

Fool. You don't want that cheap-ass copper. What you need is oxygen-free silver. The following is a quote from a silver speaker wire company. With results like these for a simple speaker wire, just think what silver will do for HDMI:

When you replace your copper speaker cables (even more expensive copper cables) with our Teflon-insulated, 99.999% solid silver conductor speaker cables, you may think you have just installed expensive new electronics, because of the across-the-board sonic improvements you should experience-

The highs sounding less harsh and more delicately musical. The bass, less "bloated" and more revealing of instrumental textures and specific notes. The all-important mid-range (where most of the music resides) should sound more natural and warm, with human voices sounding more like real people, and musical instruments more convincingly "live."

A new, "liquid" and flowing quality should reveal more of the intrinsic beauty of the original musical event.

The stereo sound stage becomes more specific, with instruments and voices each appearing from a smaller localized area in the stereo image. There is a more distinct "layering" of the sound, with the ability to retrieve the original recorded "depth of field" to a greater extent.

With results like this applied to an HDMI cable, you will feel like you have been "sucked into" another world, rather than just viewing it on television. In fact, I bet you will be able to interact with the characters in the movie. You may even be able to stop that jedi from saving Jar-Jar. Or smack the shit out of Bill Paxton and tell him to grow a pair in Aliens. And of course there's the porn.

Did I mention the need for teflon insulation?

If they felt there was a good chance of removing Israel from the region, I'm not sure. There's a lot of glory to be had (in the jihadist mind) when it comes to mutually assured destruction. They get 70-some-odd virgins and go to paradise and their enemy gets destroyed. I don't know how many "true believers" there are in the Iranian government, but I'd guess it's more than none.

Yes, but as far as I know, no one in the decision making chain knew that this would happen. Agent Orange, when produced correctly, itself is not toxic to humans. The problem was that Monsanto (the now defunct parent company of the present day Monsanto) over heated it during production. This caused 2,3,7,8-Tetrachlorodibenzodioxin to form and contaminate the Agent Orange. The intent of spraying Agent Orange was to remove the tree cover, not to cause birth defects and to make troops on both sides sick years later. See the difference?

How would dropping a chemical on a battlefield (on both enemy and your own troops) that would take years to manifest symptoms be of any use to the military? If the intent was simply to poison the troops, then any number of other gasses or biological agents would certainly have been much more effective. At the time there were many other options of chemicals that could have been used to ensure a decisive victory.

The intent was to remove the forest cover. This was a much different usage than the mustard and chlorine gas that were used during WWI. Or VX and nerve gas. Those were meant to kill and seriously injure troops and civilians in a very short time, in one of the most awful ways for any one to die. Don't get me wrong, what happened was atrocious. But I don't think the outcome was what the intended use of Agent Orange. Now the way the military tried to cover this up was equally despicable. But that's another discussion.

It's the only country to use nukes. But it certainly isn't the only to use gas. France, Germany and the UK all used it during the first world war. While Agent Orange was a gas, it was not believed to be toxic to humans At the time it was used in Vietnam. It was a defoliant used so the North Vietnamese troops couldn't hide under the forest canopy. Unfortunately Monsanto tainted it in production.
