    I didn't really look too closely at it I just saw 2 4870@512, the 4870x2 is just two 4870 glued together but they have 1gb of ram each for a 2 gb card. This will also give you an upgrade path, if you wanted.

    I wouldn't really bother with 12gb of ram unless you were going to make an 8gb ramdisk to load the entire game into RAM.

    Any game that is on a console looks substantially better on the PC runs at a higher frame rate, and higher resolution, and has a better view distance.

    Xbox dev is identical to PC dev very little needs to be changed to do a quick port from one to the other.

    The PC in the article is a waste of money.

    The problem with just about every computer review is that the reviewers think that running a game at anything less than 1920Ã--1080 (1080p) is absolutely unacceptable.

    I game on my HD TV in the basement which can only do 720p, a single 4850 will get you about 30 fps in Warhead maxed out.

    IIRC and IANAL the adversary system only depends on the two lawyers being equal.
    There wouldn't be adequate representation on both sides so it balances out.

    I think you get such a long life out of your components is because you are under clocking everything.

    In my case I'm overclocking everything. I kick more power through all of my components than is technically safe, to get the most out of it.
    Which is why I use a nicer PSU

    So far from what I've noticed in the last couple of years, is the summers aren't as hot winter's aren't as cold and there is more snow on the slopes.

    Hey you forgot to mention the best part, while the Nvidia card is about 15-20% faster the ATI costs about 1/2 as much.

    That's very true, I recently purchased a 4850 1gb over the 512 because while in the reviews they both showed identical frame rate, actual game play was not equal. "One" of the problems crysis is having is a zoom lag when you use a scope or binocs, because it has to load the textures.

    The 512 had a bit of a lag, but the 1gb did not.

    Yes, privacy is one of the few area's where I welcome government action.

    You wouldn't be begging for the warrantless wiretapping. The government has always been "do as I say not as I do."
