Agreed to a point. When I am presented with an interesting project, I can wake up to where I get up early & like going to work.
I like designing yet another 100ohm coplanar differential pair of traces with an off the shelf connector. (for real)
There's a lot of give & take with work like this, but it pays very well (even for techs)

So what about the link

We have cameras on our suburbian intersections here in Redmond, Washington State, USA that are manned by the city (I guess). No one I've asked seems to know who is responsible for them. They seem to be better quality (newer) than the WSDOT cameras on the highways.
Anyone from Redmond? I'd appreciate any info on this.
Thanks
I will hit mute/skip at any cost. I'm not sure why, but commercials in the past few years are pretty offensive to my tender senses (not for content, but presentation I guess). The major networks are the worst.
I believe the person who is slowly destroying the vital organs of themselves and others should be the ones that "move their lazy asses." I know, I'm fucking crazy.
Is your whole life + children spent at that corner bar that has smokers? There are no bars on the west coast that allow smoking indoors that I know of. Quit complaining, you live in the greatest country on Earth still. I don't know why you complain about some stupid shit like second hand smoke, when you will never be exposed to it. I've met people like you and shake my head.
>But suddenly when an animal does it, somehow the victim becomes the perpetrator.
It's generally true with exotic animal attacks in a zoo. The human victim is the perp in animal attacks. The animal has to go to pretty exceptional lengths to get to the attacker. Teasing, spitting, yelling, etc.
But then again, I wouldn't think you are calling a wild tiger in a zoo a 'perpetrator'? I can see it, but....
It's that simple. If this perspective does not make sense to you - simply write yourself out of the target audience and get on with that which is important to you....
Many users do not need a removable battery, optical drive or additional connectors. It's that simple. If you do, simply write yourself out of the target audience and get on with that which is important to you....
[Apple]... required Intel to produce a new, smaller chip design is worthy of respect rather than puerile comments...
But if you can't understand the user, or appreciate the engineering - just get on with other things.

Holy shit. America has changed quite a bit in the past 20 years. Heh. More wimmen for me!
I don't understand why he has to use so much energy.
Buying green power is great and all, but he sure isn't reducing his footprint. Why not cut the use a little and invest the savings into the green power company he gets his energy from?
I also thought the followup at the end of the article 'A Tale of Two Houses' was kind of funny/ironic.
Think about it. Has he made any concessions for living a more frugal life besides buying "carbon credits" from his own company? I haven't heard of any.
Same old shit: Another cause, different decade. Global warming is huge though.
What have you done for America or The Earth lately? Did you "Beat the Crunch" in the '70s? Did you stop using chlorofluorocarbons in the 80's when that became popular? Have you ever saved a whale by chance in the '90s? If so, how? How about those astonishingly cute little baby seals? Nuclear energy & 3 mile island ('70s again) All good stuff.
As an American, I am angry fat, and drunk.

About two months ago, I had this problem for a couple/few weeks with Ubuntu & FF 3.0, but it seems to have been resolved.
Agreed. Nice one Benanov.
