Its the chicken and the egg argument. Sony fortified the PS3 because somebody cracked the hypervisor. Somebody cracked the Hypervisor because Sony removed the Other OS option. Sony removed the other OS option because they saw someone could use it to homebrew/pirate.
The two (in Ireland at least) are too intertwined to deal with as a separate issue. The Irish Nationalists (or Republicans), who for the most part identify as Roman Catholic, want a unified Ireland which would be presumably Catholic. The Unionists, who are predominantly Protestant support the UK continuing its governance of Northern Ireland. The religion and cultural identity of these groups are virtually inseparable. To a Nationalist, a Protestant is a Unionist and a Unionist is a Protestant. To Unionists, the same is true.
Th problem with 4chan and anonymous is that they are unpredictable. To use a metaphor, if the courts are a scalpel, and the army a broadsword, then 4chan is a rabid 3 legged badger with chronic flatulence.
Exactly. The profit per set of eyeballs is higher, but the profit in general is minuscule compared to the television broadcast profits due to the total viewership being much higher on TV than on Hulu.
Well..... As recently as the 1990's Catholics and Protestants were killing each other in Northern Ireland. They still are telling each other to STFU. I'm not sure what the Pope has said in regards to it recently, but there has definitely been Catholic/Protestant violence in our lifetime.
I would only object to the 5th use of my DNA, as it violates the 4th Amendment. The rest, have at it.
The basic tenets of your argument are sound however. I realize that while I may be quite free with my limits on DNA use, others may not. The question remains that did these people give informed consent to just diabetes or as a earlier poster claims to a broader collection of genetic disorders. Based on not RTFA, I can only speculate.
Monopolies are only one facet of antitrust laws. What Apple would be doing here is VerticalIntegration. Which is just as illegal as using a monopoly to engage in anticompetitive activities.
Perhaps a more accurate thing to say would be "We need people like that, and a free society that makes it legal." I haven't watched South Park regularly since the mid 2000's, but I do find them entertaining when I do get to see an episode. I don't believe that we NEED South Park, but we need there to be people like Mat and Trey that are willing to satirize anything they see fit, and we need a constitution that backs up the right for them to do it.
And 62.9 Million of them are pornobots and promotional pages for crappy bands.
The machine guns are pointed in.... not much use against barbarians.
To further the pursuit of accuracy, I would say it is treating a gangrenous leg by hiring a polka band.
Just a nitpick, but it is not NBC that has Comcast, but Comcast that has NBC.

Nah, if that was true, he would have installed Ubuntu on the system he compromised.

I'm an existentialist and believe your post is meaningless. [/dead horse beating]

Using vertical integration to engage in anticompetitive practices is illegal, however.
It was, but thank you for the clarification.
Hyperbole: The best thing EVER!
According to Wikipedia, he resigned from Apple's board in August of last year due to avoid a conflict of interest between Apple and Google.
