These cards are specifically built and marketed for overclocking. There are profiles on the cards, and the OC profile is on all retail units, it's simply not the default. Why they made it the default for reviewers or not the default for retail I don't know. But it really isn't an issue. All the cards will reach those clocks.

I'd like to see Apple price the adapter at $2. Build your own? Most people can't solder, and most people who can solder can't solder on something as tiny as a USB-C cable's wires. Stripping the cable and the individual wires alone is a test of patience and dexterity. And an old USB-C cable? How many people out there have spare USB-C cables laying around?

The 3.5mm jack isn't ready to be put out to pasture any more than RJ45 or NEMA 5-15.

  14. Vitalik Buterin is a puppet they fly around to do interviews while claiming he's the developer.
He's not. It's developed by a farm of Indian's working, ultimately, for Goldman Sachs.

Ethereum is an IPO alt-coin (meaning it's a scam). The initial volume was fake (pre-arranged) in order to pump up value, as per usual.

I get that you see someone making a claim on the internet and your instinct is to assume it's bullshit. But what I don't get is why you spent time to Google "Ethereum" so you can throw out a challenge using "Vitalik Buterin" and not also spend the time to actually read about it.

If you had, you'd know that the clown behind Ethereum is Anthony Di Iorio - https://www.linkedin.com/in/an... .

If you actually care, so a search for his name or read this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.... .

It's highly variable based on the phase of the moon, as far as I can tell. I typically still get shit in the promised 2 days, but I've never had the "same day pickup" work because shit is delivered to the locker 5 minutes before closing and I don't get a notification, or shit is delivered to the locker but not put in the locker (with an excuse that it didn't fit, though the next morning it's there and clearly fits), or shit is simply not delivered that day. I've also never had the release date delivery for a video game work out. For all other products, I'd say about 10-20% of the time it breaks the guaranteed date even when shipping in state.

Prime doesn't help. Amazon routinely breaks the "Guaranteed Delivery By..." guarantee shown on the checkout page, even for Prime members. The standard compensation if you bother to pester them about it is to extend Prime membership by 1 month.

However, these count against you, and Amazon will eventually stop giving you free Prime. If you have too many demerits on your account (complaining about slow/delayed shipping, returning defective items, getting a price match, etc.) Amazon will straight ban your account.

Your other post, including this gem, really drives it home:

it is impossible to prove with an algorithm (reducible to the halting problem) any non trivial assertions about the behavior of such contracts.

That's only true in the general case, so change "such contracts" to "such contracts in general" or "all contracts".
It's also just as true if you remove "with an algorithm (reducible to the halting problem) ".

it is impossible to prove any non trivial assertions about the behavior of all contracts.

Your statement is functionally equivalent to "It is impossible to prove everything about everything.".
