1.5 years are ~500 days. That's 80*500=40,000 Turbinedays. You cite 75,000 maintenance trips. So you're saying they visited each turbine twice a day on average? From a helicopter? Either you got the numbers wrong or they should have camped up there.
Technically the eye, and especially the retina, is considered part of the brain. Anyway, there are so called critical periods during the development of the visual system, and if the eye is not functional in these periods, the rest of the cortical visual system will not develop properly. There seems to be no way to redo this later.
There's no explicit statement of the capacity per area, but I assume they talk about storage on their 2x2x0.4 mm^3 fingernail piece. Then you could burn the information on the youngest part of the nail and have the full 6 months of lifetime.
Yeah, but the Opterions are exclusively available for dual unit use. Opterion marketing dept reports very little demand for Opterion-4 and Opterion-8 systems;)
As a poster at groklaw already pointed out, the german text is ambigous here: " [...] as it could have the meaning that SCO is after all allowed to threaten their own customers with the prospect of criminal prosecution or they are not allowed to say that all Linux users but those who bought from Caldera or SCO could have to face criminal prosecution."
Well, he claims it is for educational purposes and even published it on his website. So probably it's not illegal what he's doing - as long as he doesn't (admit to) realease his creations into the wild.

This is already the third project called pyro.
"Python Remote Objects" http://pyro.sourceforge.net/
and "Python Robotics" http://pyrorobotics.org/
and possibly there are even more.

...just imagine easy (micro-)payment for the average user by a click of a button - of the internet explorer!
Use cygwin to run kismet under windows:

Well, this reminds me of the trained honey bees for land mine detection
Nice idea, but since the whole structure is nothing but a chimney you'll need some very storm-resistant tomatoes for that greenhouse ;)
Not that it really matters, but it is also german (with the same meaning). I believe that tesa is a german company (Beiersdorf AG tesa).
