Very very very bad idea. I think it is time for us to wake up and be suspicious of any proposal that is linked to (cyber)crime, childporn, terrorism and any other threat.

"FBI Reports All-Time High In Internet Fraud Losses"
should be:
"FBI uses scare tactics on public to further future agenda of restricting internet even more"
I do get scared when I read these kinds of messages. Scared that 'the public' might fall for this and say: "YES! We DO want restrictions! Because we have to protect 'our great nation' against (and here we go) terrorism, crime and child pornography and everything else that we could be scared about."
I don't think we misread as much as we think. I think women change their mind a lot. I have had girl-friends (as in girls who are friends) who would change behaviour every time. One evening they would be very close to me, use language that indicate some sort of 'other than being just friends' intent. But the next day, although still being friendly, the 'looks' and 'signals' would have disappeared. What changed? I didn't...
Have you never felt an attraction to someone for one night? Only to wonder the next day what compelled you?
Maybe women need to confess to their inability to makes choices (or sense).:)
"Microsoft responded aggressively, saying that 'there is no such thing as free software. Nobody develops software for charity.'"
Well... I do. Besides, software is basically only something that makes your hardware work. It's no suprise that hardware companies like IBM use open source software to support their sales. We're entering an age where computer- and hardware manufacturerers no longer really need Redmond to make their products attractive to the public. As this trend continues, we will see more hardware vendors switching to open source, simply because it makes more economic sense.
I think the phrase 'open source doesn't mean fee of charge' is way overused, because for the most part, it is.
I think the solution is fairly simple. Just add an option to filter out the ones that are not marked by Wikipedia as 'significant' or 'trustworthy'. That way, you'll have the best of both worlds. It will also encourage people to write better articles, because they want their's to be of 'premium' quality.
In short, the answer is: don't delete, just filter.
"So Dad, what did you do while you were in college?"
"Well son, I helped testing this monitoring system that allows the government and some big companies to track your every move nowadays. But in my time, they only used it to do a traffic thingy."
This is actually very good news!

Only good can come from this. The US patent system is one of the worst around as it enforces patents like these and software patents.
Stop the patents! They no longer do what they were designed to do. They stall businesses and people. They give legal weapons to people who shouldn't have them at all. Time for something else.
As in any betrayal in the dark world of crime, there is only one solution. Masterphish to thief:
"Now phirst you get one warning. But iph you do it again, you will sleep with the phishes..."
