At our place, perpetrators discovered over thefts were ALWAYS tied back to the security detail. We're with our fourth private security company in as many years (i proposed not bothering at all and incidents would likely go down).
Sounds very similar to so-called "holographic" memory that was oft discussed in various glossy computer and popSci mags a decade ago, tho this is presumably a depth of 1 bit vs multi-axis. Maybe the first step to reality ? -eb
...of keeping the program running ? Obviously, scratch on the initial capital investment (esp if they're talking bringing them down), but would setting the airtime cost to something reasonable to stimulate consumer interest ever make it profitable ?
If it's simply too much ahead of its time, would simply suspending the program and bring it back later be feasible (and profitable) ?
I'm sure there's a need, just not at current costs for consumer.
