  1. Re:Good luck with that, NFL on Thou Shalt Not View The Super Bowl on a 56" Screen · · Score: 1

I have 5 kegs of beer and a 60" plasma in my music room. I have about 68 people coming to watch the game tomorrow. Am I too in violation of any copyright laws? I mean, I am not charging cover like most sports bars here do. I say that the church should've done their thing and been done with it. What's the worse that could happen? Would the NFL really know that it was watched at the church? Or perhaps the house beside the church. The point being is, if it doesn't harm, do what you will. That is what I think. Am I still going to have my party tomorrow? You are damn skippy!!!!

  2. Hmmm!!!! on Music Labels say No Deal with Qtrax · · Score: 1

From the webmaster, I want to make money side, I say that it was probably a very good stunt for Qtrax to do that. Think of all the damned money they made from 1 night of nobody being able to download music. If you try to download a song, it says downloads coming soon. That is when the server was up. But yet, the ads were still there. At one point there was 12,000+ people on this morning. I believe that out of that, there should have been quite a bit of commission to be made by Qtrax. Good publicity stunt. I may have to get in on that band wagon myself. ;P Ignorance is bliss....Why am I miserable?

  3. Am I surprised? on The True Cost of SMS Messages · · Score: 1

I am fully looking for an economical collapse because of all the greedy sons of bitches in high places. Think about it. Everything is going up, so why not pay more for text messaging? That seems to at least be the thoughts of the corporations. Everything is going up except our pay. To hell with the phones and SMS messaging, we all need to go back to the old way of life and let the greedy bastards lose some money and hopefully sleep too. Ignorance is bliss, so why am I not happy?????

  4. Re:Just a thought... UHF 60-69 for... TV? on The 700mhz Spectrum Auction In Perspective · · Score: 1

Not sure, it just went out. I felt better that once I saw we could still watch analog tv. The fact was it was only 3 1/2 hours into the storm we lost power and the little 5" weather tv only picks up analog tv. Guess, I will have to buy one of those converters to make that work when the power fails off of the old power inverter.

That is correct except for those of us who live in an area that is prone to hurricanes. The digital tv broadcast is lost long before the analog broadcast i.e. during Katrina, Mobile's NBC 15 broadcasts digital on 47. It was lost 1 hour into the storm, yet 15 never went out. Kudos to the government for the wonderful changes!

  6. Re:The most atrocious program ever. on Commodore 64 Still Beloved After All These Years · · Score: 1

This is so damned funny because in the past 20 years, I can't remember any of the programming language. I remember how it all started though. I was 7 and got a Texas Instruments (damn)can't remember the name of the thing. Anyway, to clear the screen it was call clear. To do what ever, the command was call and then the command. A year later, I started programming Apple II and that was easier, then at the tender age of 9 1/2, I got my C64. I used to write killer things on there at that age. Does anyone remember Comal? (common algorithm language)- I got the comal disk and was just learning how to program it whenever the whole system overheated and burnt out. Lost video altogether. By this time, the C64 was gone. The only place you might could find one was Goodwill. Well, anyway, that computer held some great memories.
